After a few years of not being here we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Very relaxing and a home from home but much better weather! Jun 2012
Excellent location and villa. Cycling was outstanding. Charming & quiet village, it is a beautiful place to relax and absorb Spain.
Superb location and villa, been abroad numerous times and this is the best accommodation we have been in.
Most definitely a ‘home from home’, perfect location, kids had a great time & could play safely within the grounds without having to worry that they could get out.
Excellent accommodation in a wonderful location. The house has everything we could need, the village is lovely and the area has plenty to see and do.
We had a wonderful holiday staying at the very comfortable Casa Jazmin. The accommodation and surrounding area gave you a feeling of the ‘real’ Spain.
Used as a base for rock climbing. Superb area. Very comfortable & great value.
We immediately felt at home here and have enjoyed the garden & pool. We felt much thought had been given to providing little extras.
We had a really good time in the house. All luxury we needed was available. Splendid time.
Your wonderful villa provided a delightful week of sanity after long, hard working hours. Really superb villa, home from home.

The Costa Blanca/Valencia region
The Northern Costa Blanca offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in the whole of Spain with mountains meeting the sea.
The area is full of lush vegetation with citrus, almond and olive groves growing in abundance.
There are white sandy beaches and rocky pebbled coves lapped by the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Inland there are spectacular mountain ranges and equally spectacular valleys.
The area has 320 sunny days a year and the temperature rarely drops below 15 degrees even in winter.
The area is recognised by the World Health Authority as one of the healthiest areas in the world to live.
Eating out can be cheap with Menus of the Day from 6 euros (3 courses plus wine/beer). Freshly caught seafood and locally grown fruit are in abundance.
Although situated in the peaceful romantic environs on the outskirts of Beniarbeig, the bungalow is just 15 minutes drive away from the 20kms of sandy beaches of cosmopolitan Denia and just 20 minutes away from the beaches, bars and restaurants of Javea. The bars and shops in Beniarbeig are a few minutes walk away and the larger town of Ondara is a few minutes drive.
In addition to the many bars, restaurants and night clubs situated in Denia and Javea there are a multitude of excellent local restaurants serving the best of Mediterranean cuisine in the Jalon Valley, Pedreguer, Orba and Pego. Adjoining the Javea La Sella golf course is the luxury five star hotel facilities provided by the Marriott group. Within the hotel complex there is a health club, spa facilities, a casino and many bars/restaurants to cater for all tastes. Further afield near Benidorm there is Terra Mitica, a theme park based on ancient Mediterranean cultures, Aqualandia, a huge water amusement park for both adults and children, Terra Natura, an animal theme park and Mundomar, the Costa Blanca´s answer to Disney´s Seaworld.
Valencia and Alicante are only an hour away for a day in the City or some 'Retail Therapy'.
Golfers will find themselves spoilt for choice with the excellent golfing facilities ranging from the superb 18 hole championship courses at the Olazabal designed La Sella and Ballesteros designed Oliva Nova to the 9 hole courses at Javea, Benissa Ifach and Altea Don Cayo. Further afield you have the internationally acclaimed courses near Valencia of El Saler and El Bosque plus a plethora of course around Alicante.
For non-golfers there are many other activities in the area, ranging from horse riding at 'Centro Hipico Javea' and 'Escuela de Equitacion La Sella', to a wide range of water sports at Denia and tennis at the La Sella Marriott Hotel complex.
The area is excellent for walkers with paths that follow ancient trails to terrain that can be as rugged and challenging as the Scottish mountains.
The is plenty for the watersports enthusiast with light sailing, cruising, kite-surfing, canoeing, deep-sea diving classes and boat rentals available around the port/marina area of Denia.
Beniarbeig is a prosperous agricultural village close to the town of Ondara and has a few shops and bars which are popular with expatriates and the local Spanish.
Denia (capital of Marina Alta) is a delightful cosmopolitan town, rich in history and with its streets being a fascinating showcase of architecture through the ages. The town also benefits from the 20kms of seafront - enough sand and space for everyone. There is a narrow gauge railway linking Denia to Alicante and ferries leave daily from Denia for Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza.
Not far away is the famous wine growing region of the Jalon Valley with its numerous vineyards and rich vegetation. The area offers wonderful walking in a landscape of pinnacles, ridges, enormous crags with valleys of pine, citrus and almond groves. Traditional villages provide real Spanish hospitality and a contrast from the coastal areas.
Cicerone hiking books, maps and the RockFax Climbing guide are available in the property.

"Great place to stay - Authentic Spanish Experience"
Casa Jazmin is situated just a few minutes walk from the centre of the village of Beniarbeig and only a few miles from the coast. It is clean, cosy, very well equipped and perfect for families wishing to enjoy the Spanish sunshine in a real home from home environment. Wifi, wood burning stove, TV and DVDs (if you ever get time to watch anything!) all included. The outside of the house has two sitting areas - front and back so you can enjoy sun or shade as you prefer at any time of day. The barbeque area out at the front is perfect for enjoying the warm Spanish evenings and making the most of the fantastic food available to buy in the local markets. The shared pool is a really good size, clean and perfectly well kept. The village of Beniarbeig is very typically Spanish with excellent local bars and restaurants serving outstandingly good local food at excellent prices. For example, the bar Girona in the village square does a menu of the day for 6 Euros and includes three courses and drinks. The food is freshly cooked and very tasty and is popular with locals as well as tourists. You wont get anything as good or as cheap as this in the more touristy areas. There are many other places to eat like this in the village too. The owners of Casa Jazmin have very thoughtfully provided a book where visitors can write about and recommend the best places to eat and so you get all the inside info. Great place to stay if you want to enjoy an authentic Spanish holiday - good food, good wine and a great place to stay summer or winter at a great price.
We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your kind comments. We hope you will return.

"nice location in friendly Spanish village"
The property not very clean needs updating, outside of the property is nice peaceful where you can relax and enjoy family meals. The village is lovely very friendly, location is good for beaches and countryside.
I am disappointed that the house did not meet your expectations. I am also a little surprised as we have never before received any negative comments – on the contrary we have a guest book filled with compliments. This, together with a number of repeat visitors, suggests other guests standards are being met. I would like to make a couple off factual comments. Firstly, the house is extremely well equipped with electrical equipment (washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, electric oven/grill, microwave, toaster, kettle, juicer, flat screen TV satellite TV, local digital TV, DVD player, air conditioning, radiators) all of which are no more than a few years old and function fully – there are no missing knobs, broken indicator lights or dodgy displays. The furnishing are all local Spanish style and of a quality termed medio precio – basically there is no Parker Knoll but neither is there any Ikea. On service, our property managers Roy and Christine live less than 50m away so are readily available to resolve any issues. Indeed Roy visits almost every day to water some of the more sensitive plants in the garden and again we have received a host of favourable comments regarding assistance he has provided guests in everything from how to work the TV to where to find the best value local wine. Finally, on cleaning and maintenance, as well as standard measures between guests the house undergoes maintenance and replacement during the winter to keep it in good order – for example two years ago it was fully repainted internally, last year the external window ironwork was repainted, the bathroom grout and sealant replaced and the sofa cushions renewed. There are no cracked or loose tiles, missing grout, towels that have lost their absorbency, shower screens have lost their transparency, linen which is torn or faded. In short, it is a well presented holiday home.

"A great property, had our first Spanish Christmas here and lots of BBQ's"
A well laid out property, furnished nicely. We had a long term rental from December 2011 to end of April 2012 and it was everything we wanted. The new log burner was very well received and it gave us nice cosy evenings in during the short Spanish winter. Very nice owners who were easy to contact if needed. Lovely garden to enjoy whilst sitting in the sunshine. Would recommend this property to all.

I have been to Caza Jazmin several times over the last few years and have enjoyed every visit. A lot of thought has been put in by the owner to ensure that time spent there is as comfortable as possib… More
