About the home

Exceptionally located villa in a peaceful private avenue set just a stroll from Denia's wonderful long sandy beaches, many quality restaurants/bars and supermarket. The villa's tropical gardens have 2 lawned areas and are dotted with palm trees, cacti/succulents, jasmine and bougainvillea which bloom in blazes of colour. The pool has a special setting, with steps into the shallow end and considerable depth at the other.

The very attractive covered naya terrace is complete with large rattan chairs and table for dining. There are further terraces with sun loungers, tables, chairs and seating around the pool and gardens, including a roof terrace with fantastic views across the whole area, perfect for that early evening sunset cocktail. All terraces have great views of the Montgo mountain that rises in the background. The lovely semi-circular lounge is full of Spanish character and has leather suite, TV/Sat/DVD/HiFi. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes breakfast bar. We have many repeat guests.

Adjoining the lounge is a separate conservatory with sofa and table/chairs, perfect for relaxation and dining in cooler months. All accommodation is on one level with cool white tiled flooring and main windows are fitted with shutters and insect screens. Each bedroom has fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets. We include board games and books for our guests' use. High chair, cot and pushchair buggy are arranged by advanced request. Winter lets can have log fires.

There is an enclosed outside shower and the built-in BBQ area has its own chimney, stone/marble table and seats. On the pool terrace are sunbeds with cushions and a parasol. A selection of pool and beach toys and garden games can be found in the pool room. We request smoking outside. Please bring towels for use outside by the pool and on the beach.

There is night lighting to the pool and palms to create a tropical ambiance for evening dining and swimming.

Families with small children will love the security of the property's enclosed walled gardens around the villa.
Outside the property is unrestricted parking.

We provide a comprehensive Guest Manual at the villa covering everything you need to know for your stay at our villa, 'Oasis'. We've devoted a section to getting out-and-about in the area, and another covers many of the local restaurants and bars. There are literally hundreds of restaurants in and around Denia, ranging from very exclusive ones, to excellent good-value establishments some offering daily set menus, to traditional tapas bars, to those suitable for families. As well as the harbour area bars and beach bars, Denia has a number of up-market, late night bars for groups and couples both in town and in the new marina.

There can be few villas for rent in the whole Costa Blanca region offering our special location. There are cafes/bars, shops and a supermarket only a short walk away and restaurants that are themselves some of the best around; and right by the beach also within walking distance are ice-cream parlours, internet/WIFI, chemist, newsagent/baker, and further bars/restaurants that are perfect for families to relax while the children play on the sand both during daytime and evenings.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Take a leisurely trip to the Jalon Valley and stop for lunch at one of the many Spanish villages, or go on a day's outing to Guadalest village/fortress with a refreshing dip in the Fonts D'Algar pools and waterfalls and a spectacular mountain drive back, or visit the area's coastal headlands for wonderful views, sheltered coves and snorkelling. If you're active, you may want to climb Montgo mountain. For families looking for activities beyond the beaches and the pool there is a Safari Park, Terra Mitica Theme Park and Aqualandia Water Park, all within 30-45 minutes drive from the villa. For golfers, there's a rich selection of courses nearby including the renowned La Sella course only 10 minutes drive away, plus large clubs at Javea and Calpe. Denia's Tennis Club is only 2 minutes away. Try horse-riding or biking through the orange groves nearby. For sea-fishing there are numerous possibilities. And of course there are all the beach sports to hand: volleyball, jet skis, diving, snorkelling, boating, surfing, windsurfing and quad biking.

The Denia area

Denia is a beautiful typically Spanish coastal town situated between Valencia and Alicante, and is made picturesque by its setting at the base of Montgo mountain, with its own 'ramblas' style main street, castle and quaint old town opposite the harbour. In contrast to much of Spain, the area has a lush feel to it due to the orange groves that surround the town. Frequently quoted as having the most ideal climate in Europe, with pleasant cool sea-breezes during Summer afternoons, it has a thriving fishing port, boat trips along the coast and daily ferries to Ibiza/Majorca. During summer evenings the harbour area restaurants buzz and there is a nightly street market. There are many excellent quality shops and some of the best of the area's hundreds of restaurants are at the new marina. One of the joys all year round is taking a long stroll from the villa down the beach to Denia harbour. This golden sandy beach retains an unspoilt nature, is ideal for children, and sunsets can be specular.

Denia's claim to fame is having the most fiestas in Spain. We hope you'll be lucky to catch one, whether its bull-running or one of the many processions through the town's main streets. Check with the Tourist Information Office.

From either Alicante or Valencia its one hour's drive. Take junction 62 of the A7/E15 Autopista for Denia and the villa is only 5 minutes away from here following signs for Denia's main sandy beaches at Les Marines/Las Marinas.

“The most amazing home from home - a little bit of paradise!” Excellent from start to (sad!) finish; we had the most relaxing, wonderful time. A family of 5 with 3 girls (16, 15 and 12), we were looking for 5* quality at a reasonable price, peace and quiet and great ammenities nearby in a "Spanish" part of Spain. A big ask, you might think, but Villa Oasis delivered big time on everything we hoped for.. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get - and some! Superb accommodation with all mod cons and homely touches, besides the fantastic pool and beautiful, well-kept, tranquil gardens. We decided against car hire and really had no need of one as bus to Denia (5 mins away) was cheap, clean and efficient; plenty to do in this lovely traditonal Spanish town with frequent markets and excellent restaurants in abundance. Gorgeous Marina, interesting Castle, beautiful, welcoming Churches and plenty of great shops. At home within an easy stroll of the villa were a good wee supermarket (Mas y Mas) and some terrific eateries; would particularly recommend Cafe BlaBla (superb Spanish and Dutch food) from friendly, helpful owners. Also Carreton (beside the Bus Stop); great choice of real Spanish dishes with beautiful presentation and friendly staff. Kitchen in the villa lent itself to easy family meals and barbecue was simple to use (we were novices!). The views of the sea from the beach nearby were inspiring, the beach itself clean and pleasantly un-busy! (we visited in October) Lovely owners Mike and Isobel were helpful and friendly, providing clear instructions and good advice every step of the way. Excellent airport transfer was easily organised and reasonably priced, thank you, Tina! Our damages deposit was promptly returned in full. Cannot recommend this highly enough, we all loved it. Just what we needed after a very busy and quite stressful year! Thank you so much for sharing with us this little piece of heaven!

“Look no further..........this villa has everything!” Oasis villa is very special. Having spent many holidays in the area previously I was looking for a villa where everything we needed was within walking distance.......beach, shops, bars & restaurants. I knew it was a tall order but I found it. We simply couldn't believe how private & peaceful this villa is, yet it is so well located. The gardens are beautiful, the pool the largest we've seen for any 3 bed villa, and inside it is full of character and gave us all that we needed. Denia is a wonderful place with a gorgeous harbour. And it is very spanish; a far cry from the over-deveoloped places like Javea, Calpe etc nearby. Nothing is too much trouble for Isobel & Mike, the owners, they are very responsive to anything. I can see why they are booked up so far in advance. The villa and it's location tick every box. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. We'll be back, that's for sure! “Peaceful and tranquil setting, providing a perfect holiday location” The villa was perfect for our holiday needs with ample accommodation for the six adults in our party. It provided a peaceful location yet was within walking distance to local amenities and abeautiful sandy beach. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden and dipping in the large pool. Also we made good use of the barbeque. Denia town is just a short bus ride away and is pefect for shopping and dining out. Nearby Carreton restauarant in Les Marines was our favourite - menu del dia providing excellent quality and value. This was our first visit to Denia and we greatly enjoyed exploring the beautiful local area. Also inclcuded a day trip to Valencia via the train from Gandia which was very enjoyable and easy to do. In summary we had a great time and will be back soon.

The property's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the advertiser's discretion.

Rental prices include electricity, water, heating, air conditioning, bedding and bed linen, towels (except pool/beach towels) and all the normally required crockery/pans/glasses/cutlery etc for dining and for the kitchen. We also supply some tea/coffee/sugar/milk/water/condiments/cleaning products to help new arrivals get started. The owner pays for the pool and gardens to be maintained weekly.

Cheap airlines' flight prices are significantly higher at weekends. Consequently, most of our guests, particularly those returning for a second or third time, request midweek to midweek rentals. Most of our bookings are therefore based on midweek arrivals and departures, but we are completely flexible.

A 25% deposit is payable to secure the reservation, with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival, together with a refundable 500 euros (£400) damages deposit. Renters are responsible for organising their own personal travel insurance to cover cancellation, injury, loss, damage etc. Renters cannot re let/sublet the villa to any other party. Any extra days to weekly hires are charged pro-rata prevailing weekly rates.

To cover cleaning, washing and preparation for each rental there is a charge of 110 euros (£90).

In low season weeks, winter utilities are charged as used, however special rental rates are available for the villa for longer lets in low season........email us for details.

For late arrivals, we can arrange a shopping welcome pack on request.

We can arrange airport pick-up/drop-off utilising the services of a local provider familiar with Denia and the villa.
