About the home

This beautiful villa is situated on a mountainside hence the stunning views of the valley to the sea beyond. The lovely 8m x 4m private pool is a real bonus, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind on the comfortable sun loungers while soaking up the sun (6 provided). The villa is in a peaceful location and the views by day or night are wonderful. The pool area and terraces come to life even in the evening thanks to the pool light and the subtle terrace lighting so you can enjoy al fresco dining from the purpose built "Spanish BBQ" any time of the day or night.
The villa itself retains some of the traditional spanish features, but both bathrooms and kitchen have been modernised recently to a superb standard, with large walk in shower rooms..stunning.

The villa is on 2 levels the top level (pool level) has 1 double room, 1 twin room, lounge / diner, kitchen and bathroom. The lower level has a large suite with bedroom, seating area c/w 2nd TV, en suite bathroom and laundry room with washing facilities and fridge. The lower level is accessed via an external staircase, ideal for 2 couples or grandparents as it gives privacy to each, but may not be suitable for parents with 3 or 4 young children.

All bedrooms have air conditioning & fans to ensure cool in the hotter months.

There is a 2.4M dish which ensures BBC & ITV. There is wifi free of charge, Bose docking station, DVD player (plus a selection of dvds), CD player. In the suite downstairs you will find a further TV. Outside fridge by the BBQ for that all important cold drink.

We the owners are close by and are on hand in case of any problems, so you are safe in the knowledge that the villa is maintained to a high standard and you will have a hassle free holiday.

Facilities

The villa although traditionally built has been modernised to a high standard. It has a modern kitchen with everything you will need. There are two stunning bathrooms both c/w large wet area with glass shower screens, beautifully tiled with vanity units with built in mirrors and plenty of storage for toiletries, modernised in 2009.
The furniture and soft furnishings throughout are new modern and stylish.
The villa has air conditioning in the bedrooms and ceiling fans in all rooms which helps to keep the villa cool in the height of the summer, needed for a good nights sleep. Mosquito nets and shutters are also on most windows along with traditional metal rejas.
The main lounge has a cream leather suites and the dining room had a beautiful glass table with 6 chairs.
The villa has all modern conveniences including WIFI (free of charge), 32" flat screen TV with BBC & ITV , DVD, Bose docking station,CD, dishwasher, washing machines etc, safe, hair dryers (in each room), cool box for the beach and parasols. The downstairs bedroom with 4 poster bed has its own seating area c/w own TV and stunning en suite shower room.
Good quality linen is provided including one pool towel per person, if your stay is for 2 weeks or more then the linen is changed at the end of the first week.
The villa is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need for a fantastic holiday. Many clients return year after year, which is a great recommendation.

Further details outdoors:
The summer climate here in Spain is perfect for outdoor living and this villa is perfect for that. There is plenty of terracing around the pool for the all important sun lounger and 6 are provided along with parasols for shade if required.
A couple of steps up from the pool area you will find a purpose built BBQ area with table and chairs for 6 people underneath a large parasol to give shade from the heat of the sun. Here you will find a further terraced area with a pull out awning from the side of the house again to escape the heat of the sun if required.
The villa is set on the mountainside and therefore there are steps around the villa, but gates have been installed with padlocks to ensure small children can not wonder on the steps. The villa and terracing are south facing.
There is a car parking area above the pool area with a few steps down to the terrace.
The views from the villa give the WOW factor to all who visit, with the views and the peaceful location you are sure to have a wonderful holiday.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Northern Costa Blanca is truly a beautiful place with many wonderful places to see and visit. There are many local towns to visit within easy reach of the villa such as Moraira, Altea and Calpe. The fantastic theme parks of Terramitica, Terranatura and the water world of Aqualandia near Benidorm and Alicante are well worth a visit as is the Oceanographics near Valencia.
The city of Valencia is only 40 minutes away by train so why not take a trip there for the day while visiting the area, it is a lovely city and very vibrant.
The city of Alicante is also worth a visit and it only 1 hours drive away, with is wonderful beaches and also many shops in which to browse.

The Denia / Pedreguer area

Denia and Javea are located on the northern Costa Blanca, this is a truly beautiful part of Spain with its rugged coast line and wonderful mountains and lush landscape.
The beautiful cosmopolitan resort of Denia (15 mins away) has long sandy beaches which do not get crowed even in the height of the summer. The marina is a great place to dine during the day or night. Its a great places to just sit and have a drink in the sunshine while admiring the beautiful yachts bobbing around on the med. Denia itself has many restaurants in which to enjoy all types of cuisine to suite all pallets and pockets. Alternatively you can visit the local fish market and buy the catch of the day, return to the comfort of your own villa to BBQ, while admiring the twinkling lights in the distance and the peaceful warm summer evenings...perfect.
In the main streets of Denia you will find some wonderful shops in which to browse.
Javea is also a beautiful coastal resort and again there are wonderful restaurants and shops in which to wonder, particularly in the old town and port.
There are many restaurants to visit locally too in Pedreguer & Gata de Gorgos (just a couple of minutes away).
It truly is a wonderful area, having fallen in love with the area we sold up in the UK and now live in Spain and have done now for 7 years and do not regret it for a minute.

The villa is so easy to get to with our detailed directions taking you straight to the door from either Alicante or Valencia airports, it could not be easier.

* From Alicante airport it is just 1 hours drive north to the northern Costa Blanca, accessed easily via the AP- 7
* From Valencia airport it is just 1 hour 10 mins south to the Costa Blanca north, accessed easily via the AP-7

* We can organise car hire for you, ready for you to collect on arrival from either airport.

Our detailed directions take you straight to the villa and you are issued with emergency telephone numbers just incase you take a wrong turn and get lost, which does not happen often as the instructions are so detailed.

* The keys for the villa are in a key safe, so if you are delayed there is no problem, you can go straight to the villa and let yourself in. This we find removes the stress of having to arrive by a certain time to collect a key.

“Relaxing, restful and content” I have stayed at this villa on 2 occasions now and have always enjoyed it. I've known the owners Steve & Michelle for a number of years and have stayed at a number of their villas - depending upon the size of my group. Both Steve & Michelle are lovely people and have always taken of me and my family. The villas are spacious and allow you to get away from the crowds. Always had a pool and a clean well looked after villa. i usually go in June every 2 years when the World Cup or Euro football in taking place. They have BBC and ITV so you can keep in touch with the world and not be limited to Spanish tv. The towns of Javea and Denia are very close by car and both are lovely places to eat in the evening. Javea has a lovely sandy beach which is popolar and Denia has a brand new marina full of nice restaurants. I'd always recommend Steve & Michelle to anyone - helpful and considerate and reasonable rates as well. If you hate hotels and crowds, grab yourself a piece of (reasonably priced) personal space with the footie beamed to your own sofa. Well worth it and Javea is only 1 hour from Alicante airport.Valencia is 1 hour north which is a lovely city to visit - especially the old town. I'd be very surprised and very sceptical of anyone who gave "spanishvillas.gb" a negative review. They'd be very much mistaken. As Spinal Tap might say - the rating for Steve & Michelle goes all the way up to eleven!!

“Beautiful, relaxing, home from home!” Lovely villa with stunning views. We had a lovely relaxing break, with fantastic views, glorious weather, and an amazing pool to cool off in! The villa had everything you could ever need, and had the added bonus of an extra suite, with lounge area, en-suite, and small kitchen. Location required essential car hire, though it was only 5 - 10 minutes before you hit the local village, and there was a bar/restaurant on the approach to the develpoment. The owners were brilliant, very helpful and available for advice on the villa and local area at any time.

“Modern,clean, very well equipped villa- great communication- superb rental experience.” This villa was clean, modern and very well equipped. Lovely pool and great views. Owners seem very thoughtful and flexible. Communication with them was great during booking process. Very well organised rental. The villa really did have everything we needed and was as per the description. Car hire is essential as there is nothing within walking distance. Supermarket and restaurants just a short drive away. Sandy beaches and pebbly coves all along the coast. Just writing this makes me want to be back! A great holiday.

Well we are back in sunny uk NOT! lol! just a quick note to say thank you very much for letting us stay at your villa last week we had a wonderful time was enjoyed by all. The villa was very clean and well maintained - thank you for getting a new umbrella but we managed with the broken one so put the new one in the twin bedroom. Overall, we were extremely impressed not only with the property but the service we received. The service was truly exceptional both during the booking process and the holiday itself. Michelle was incredibly efficient in dealing with various queries before the holiday - this made the process incredibly smooth.
