Casa Flintoft is a privately owned modern luxury villa situated on the prestigious development known as Monte Pego.The villa is located in a private residential area on an elevated plot which provides privacy as well as magnificent unobstructed views of the mountain range, nature reserve , orange groves and Mediterranean coastline. The villa is in an ideal location for that relaxing break in the sun, golfing holiday on the many nearby top quality courses, walking in the surrounding mountains or for use as a base whilst exploring the Spanish towns, villages and surrounding areas.
The villa is fully furnished to a high standard with all modern facilities in order to make your break as enjoyable and as relaxing as possible. The villas private kidney shaped pool with roman steps leading into the clear blue water is located off the covered terraced area to the rear of the property .The purpose built outside BBQ with a fridge for keeping your drinks cool during those warm days and evenings provides an ideal area for al-fresco dining or just relaxing and enjoying the sun, spectacular views and sunset .

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The area in which Monte Pego is located is recognised by the World Health Organisation as one of the most ideal areas for local climate and quality of life. The area enjoys virtually all year round sunshine and is in one of the most scenic regions of Spain. The area is a mix of both the traditional and modern Spanish ways of life as well as incorporating the various other cultures which have settled in the area. Developments in this part of Spain are mainly of a low level and in keeping with the local culture and style. Over recent years a considerable amount of money has been spent in upgrading the local transport links and infrastructure.
Denia / Monte Pego area
Monte Pego is a high quality urbanisation development of mainly privately owned villas and is situated in an area offering good access to the nearby golf courses ,beaches and tourist attractions.The nearby town of Denia was originally very popular with the Spanish pirates and still retains its castle overlooking the gently sloping sandy beaches and sea line. Denia is now a lively town offering a good mix of the traditional and modern way of Spanish life.There is a wide range of authentic bars,restaurants,shops and cafes catering for all ages and tastes.Throughout the year there are numerous fiestas, parades and firework displays taking place in Denia and the adjacent towns and villages.
The seafront of Denia is home to a busy working harbour where fresh produce can be purchased within minutes of it being landed.The port also operates ferries to the Balaeric Islands of Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera. There are also a number of boat trips operating from the port which will allow you to explore the coastline.
The yellow sandy beaches lead down to the crystal clear blue sea.There are also a number of rocky areas, caves and coves which prove popular for those interested in diving.The area has been awarded more EU Blue Flags for clean/safe bathing than any other area in Spain.
For those interested in shopping there is a new 135 million euro shopping centre located at Ondara which is an approximate 10 minute drive from the villa as well as a number of smaller developments which have opened in recent years. Apart from a wide range of Spanish and English being available there are cinema complexs were films can be watched in English, bowling alley and numerous restaurants.
For those interested in golf there are a number of quality courses located within a twenty minute drive from the villa which include -
La sella Golf Club which is a par 72 course, Javea Golf Club which is a 9 hole par 72 course and Oliva Nova Golf Club which is an 18 hole par 72 course.
Other attractions in the area which prove popular include -
The El Vergal Safari Park with its free roaming lion and tiger areas which you drive through.This park is located about a 5 minutes drive from the villa and makes an enjoyable day out for both young and old. On most Saturday and Sundays there is a market / carboot sale held on the car park area of the Safari Park.
The water falls at Algar are popular and provide a cheap day out. Here you can swim in a free flowing river, jump in the water off rock platforms or cool down under the waterfalls. There are a number of restaurants available in the area as well as a large picnic area.
Wine tasting at various vineyards within the Jalon Valley area.
The resort of Benidorm is located about 30 minutes drive away and has a range of pleasure parks, Aqualandia Water Parks,Mundomar Sealife Centre,Benidorm Palace shows, restaurants, shops, discos and night life.
MOTORSPORT-The area is a popular base to enjoy a holiday whilst also visiting the city of Valencia which is about one hours drive away to watch the Motorcycling Moto GP, World Superbkes and Formula 1 Car GP racing which is held on the streets of Valencia.Within the surrounding area of the villa there are a number of good quality go-cart racing circuita available as this is a very popular sport in Spain.
The Americas Cup sailing competition was also recently held in the region and attracted a large investment spent on upgrading the many harbour areas and infrastructure. I understand that the next competition is to be held in 2011.
Other local activities available within the area include Fishing Sea/Freshwater, Horse Riding, Sailing, Water Skiing, Snorkelling and Diving, Wind Surfing,Walking, Quad Biking,Walking and cycling.It is also possible during the winter months to go ski-ing in the ski resorts located about two hours drive away and be on the beach in the afternoon.
How to get there
Casa Flintoft is located in the urbanisation of Monte Pego which is a leisurely one hour drive via the autoroute from either Alicante or Valencia Airports which are both serviced by the majority of low cost airlines. These include Jet 2 www.jet2.co.uk BMI Baby www.bmibaby.com RyanAir www.ryanair.com and Easy Jet www.easyjet.com
Hire cars can easily be obtained on line or at either airport .We have recently been using www.economycarhire.com and are often able to obtain discounts for our guests. Please enquire at the time of booking.

When you have made your booking we will about 8 weeks prior to your departure provide you with a detailed information pack providing directions to the villa where you will be met by our English representative from our Management Company who will escort you to the villa and hand the keys over along with dealing with any questions that you may have.

Further details indoors: When you first drive upto the villa you will notice the quiet location in which it is situated.The enclosed landscaped front garden leads to the covered porch with its scented Jasmin flowers around. The entrance door from the porch opens into the open plan dining area and kitchen area. The adjacent circular lounge offers spectacular views over the terraced area and illuminated pool.The dining area has a table and chairs for six guests and is separated from the kitchen with a breakfast bar.The fully fitted kitchen has base and wall cupboards around under marble worksurfaces with an inset hob and oven. All modern appliances are provided at the property including fridge/freezer, washing machine, dish washer, juicer, coffee machine and microwave.
The lounge area which opens out onto the external terraced area has modern cane style furniture, log burning fire, flat screen tv and now a full english satellite system receiving the majority of Uk channels including BBC and ITV. You will now be able to keep upto date with all your favourite soaps !!. We have also provided a DVD system with a range of dvds which you are free to enjoy. From March 2010 we will have either a PSP3 or X Box installed so feel free to bring along your favourite games to enjoy.
From the lounge access is gained to the three bedrooms and family bathroom.The master bedroom has a window and patio door leading directly to the pool in order to capture the unforgetable view of the valley and mountain range in the morning and evening.This room has a king size bed ,built in wardrobes and dressing area leading to the en-suite which is fully tiled with a large walk-in shower, wc and basin. Luxury dressing robes are available within this room which can be purchased if required when you vacate the property. We have also provided complimentary toiletries.
The second bedroom has a patio door leading to the pool area and window to exploit the views. The room has two single beds and built in wardrobes. The third bedroom located to the front of the property has two single beds and storage cupboards. Both bedrooms are located adjacent to the family bathroom which is tiled and fitted with bath / shower over, wc, bidet and hand basin.
All rooms are installed with air conditioning units which provide cooling in the summer and heating during those occasional winter nights. All windows to the property have built in shutters fitted which help in keeping the suns rays out during those bright mornings when you fancy a lie in.
We have provided for our guests with a range of DVDs suitable for all ages as well as various books, toys and games. These are continually being added to.
For guests with babies or younger children a highchair and travel cot are provided for use at no extra charge.
Further details outdoors: Casa Flintoft has uninterrupted views of the mountains, nature reserve and mediterranean coastline from its rear terraced area.The private terraced area which is ideal for al fresco dining leads to the kidney shaped pool with its roman steps and underwater lighting.The pool been specifically designed to make the most of the all day sunshine and views. This area which is a private residential area offers a good degree of privacy and seclusion.
The rear terraced area is provided with tables and chairs suitable for both adults and children, sunbeds, hammock and parasol.
There is an outside BBQ area with sink and fridge for keeping those drinks cool. The external shower with hot and cold water and separate wc are accessed directly from the paved area to the side of the property.
The front garden is fully landscaped and provides an area in which to relax .There is private parking to the front of the property for upto three cars one of which can be under the pegolla. Access to the property is via a sliding gate.
We are pleased to provide a meet and greet service for guests visiting our property will be met at Bar Cova at the main entrance to Monte Pego by our English local representative. From here you will be and escorted to the villa were the keys will be handed over and a tour of the property given along with explaining the various cooloing/heating systems etc along with the area, places to visit etc.
A complimentary welcome pack containing tea, milk,bread,bottle of wine etc will be provided at the villa in order to give you the opertunity to settle in before going shopping.
The property is covered by the SMC Residential Security Service which provides a security service as well as an emergency call out service for all properties in the area subscribing to the scheme. Further details of the available services and contact telephone numbers are provided at the villa.

For the comfort of all our guests the villa is let on the basis of no smoking inside the villa although smoking is permitted in the garden areas and on the external terraced areas around the property
No pets are allowed unless by prior arrangement.
A 20% non refundable deposit is required at the time of the booking with the balance payable in full 8 weeks before departure.This money is also non refundable unless we manage to re-let the villa for the period you reserved.Referance should be made to our terms and conditions a copy of which will be provided when you make the booking.
A £200 security / breakages deposit is payable which is returned within 7 days from vacating the property providing no damage,breakages or other matters requiring our attention are reported by our Managing Agent.
Cleaning, linen and towel changes at the end of your holiday are included within the rental price.
Please note that we do not provide beach towels so please bring your own.
Meet and greet service included were you will met by our English representative and escorted to the villa.
A complimentary welcome pack is provided for each booking for your arrival at the villa.This pack will include a range of groceries,drinks etc. There may be a small charge if you require any variation on the items we provide. Please check at the time of your booking.
