Home description

On the prestigious La Sella development this 3 bed, 2 bathroom house with a fabulous large roof terrace is close to bustling old Denia and modern Javea. We use the house ourselves extensively and have equipped it with all home comforts e.g. internet access, cool box, books, DVDs, beach umbrella, mats, buckets/spades, toys, inflatables.. With air conditioning/heating and a woodburner the house is very comfortable at any time of year. Ideal for beach, mountain walking or golfing holidays and with a pool so close for those refreshing dips or lazy days. On site shops, restaurant, tennis and horse riding. Huge sandy beaches nearby or numerous rocky coves perfect for snorkelling (photo of Les Rotes). We can arrange other similar accommodation nearby for multiple family holidays.

The cul de sac location, a full view of the pool (with segregated toddler end) from the house makes this safer for young children and worry free for adults.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The prestigious La Sella development has an on site restaurant, cafe, pharmacy,horse riding stables, tennis courts. Coaching is also available. The 5* Marriott Hotel and health spa is in easy walking distance as is the 18 hole La Sella golf club with its coaching, practice range and clubhouse.

The house has views across the golf course to Montgo National park. There are sea views to the Bay of Valencia. A small scenic rail link runs nearby to Benidorm and Alicante. Historic fortress sites are nearby e.g Xativa, as are mountain walks, level coastal walks, huge sandy beaches, orange and almond groves. Several other golf courses can be found within an hours drive.
For children of all ages up to 100 the Terra Mitica theme park and the Aqualandia water park (huge water slides) will keep them amused. Next door to Aqualandia is the spectacular Mundomar sea life centre.


Denia / La Sella Development area

Denia is a lively old historic town with its castle, port, fish market and many shops. Sandy beaches abound as do rocky spots ideal for snorkelling. There is a ferry service to Ibiza if the local nightspots are not enough. Fiestas abound throughout the year in many nearby villages, often Moors and Christians themes with brilliant and loud fireworks, vibrant parades etc. Eat out every night at the many restaurants with prices from under €5 for 2 courses including wine and coffee.

A very easy 1 hour drive from either Alicante or Valencia airports - both airports are well served by the budget carriers e.g. Easy Jet, Ryanair.

Our house is an very simple and easy 5 mins from Exit 62 of the main AP7 autovia.

The house was ideal and the children enjoyed the pool. The tennis facilities are excellent and my son and I played every morning.
Even in the height of summer we found parking easy and the beach was not crowded, It is ideal for families with lovely clean sand and water which shelve very gently.
We would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking to visit this area of Spain. - Aug 07

The Villa was great especially the roof terrace. Your thoughtful touches really helped such as the cool box, maps, restaurants, DVDs, books, cot, etc. Aug 06

...but the beach more than made up for the narrow roads. Even at high season it was never busy, and it was really safe for the boys. Aug 06
