Home description

This comfortable one bedroom ground floor apartment is set within quiet landscaped gardens with a communal swimming pool. It is within close proximity to a restaurant, bar, cafe, laundrette, pharmacy, equestrian facilities and tennis club.

The La Sella Golf and tennis resort is situated just in front of the Montgo National Park. The resort itself covers some 750 acres of green forest, orange groves, olive and almond plantations. The whole area has wonderful views and is superbly maintained.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

La Sella is within easy reach of the beautiful sandy beaches at Denia, Javea and Moraira. Golf, sailing, scuba diving, water skiing, wind surfing, cycling, tennis, jet skiing, go-karting are all available at these resorts
The area is also close to the picturesque Jalon Valley. Also approximately half an hour away is the theme parks of Terra Mitica, Mundomar and the very impressive aqualandia water parks.

The wonderful city of Valencia is about an hours drive away. Or you can drive to Ghandia (15 minutes by car)and take the train through the rice fields.

Denia / La Sella Development area

Denia is a very Spanish resort with many shops and excellent restaurants. The town itself is overlooked by the famous ancient Moorish castle. There is a ferry and hydrofoil which offers trips to the Balearic islands.

The Marques de Campo, is the main street running through the middle of Denia. It runs from the port to the castle and is full of shops, street cafes and restaurants. This area is particulary lively at fiesta time.


How to get there

There are two airports to choose from, Alicante or Valencia (Total journey time around 1 hour from each). From Alicante airport follow signs to Valencia and join Motorway A7. The drive is about 50 minutes. Turn off at Junction 62. From Valencia join the A7 and head for Alicante. Again leave at junction 62.
La Sella is about another 5 minutes.

The apartment consists of a double bedroom with two single beds. The lounge is fully furnished with a double sofa bed, dining table and working fire place. A DVD player and CD player are included. There are DVDS and CDs for guests use. The apartment also has a small fitted kitchenette with hobs, microwave oven/grill and fridge. The is laundrette is just a 1 minutes walk away.The bathroom consists of shower/bath. Bed linen and towels ( not beach) are included. There is also a travel cot available .
The bedroom and lounge both have ceiling fans and there is a gas fire for the cooler winter evenings.

There is a very private sun terrace overlooking the gardens for relaxing with a book and dining.

Garden furniture including loungers and a small barbecue are all included.

The sport complex is set on a foothill and nestled between orange and almond orchards, overlooking the Mediterranean's Costa Blanca, halfway between Alicante and Valencia, La Sella caters to individuals, couples, and families, interested in sport and relaxation.

The pizzera restaurant is just a two minute walk, where you can dine on fish and meat dishes from €8.00. A bottle of the house wine is around €12.00. The service and food are both superb.

There are beautiful equestrian facilities ( For all levels) nearby and the tennis club, with clay courts, is within a two minute walk.

Javea International Tennis Club at La Sella (JITC) is a friendly social tennis club based at the idyllic setting of the La Sella Tennis complex . La Sella has eight tennis courts, five of which are clay courts and the rest being all-weather artificial grass courts.

The course has 18 holes and a par of 72. It is varied and thought provoking, and moderate in length and, if you know how to use all of your clubs, you will be able to get a good result.

The design of the courses means it is suitable for players of all levels, with the difficulty apparent at the tees. The designer, with the expert help of José María Olazábal, designed the course in such a way that if you miss the green, you will need all the virtuosity of the Spanish Champion to save the par...




Further details

La Sella is 70% privately owned, therefore the pools and restaurants are never overcrowded. The swimming pool is for guests of our apartment block only, so it never gets crowded.

Booking Notes:

A 25% booking deposit is payable immediately in order to confirm your booking and the balance together with a refundable security deposit of £100 six weeks prior to arrival.

For stays over one week towels and linen will be changed on Saturday am. Longer-term rentals, one month plus, are not normally cleaned until the day of departure. This is reflected in the discounted price quoted at the time. Cleaning and laundry can be arranged in advance.
