About the home

The property is set in the hills and borders the countryside with no through traffic giving a very tranquil relaxed atmosphere . The wildlife, especially birds, is very abundant and it is so pleasant just to sit, watch and listen to the world go by, the view down through the orange groves to Denia (and on clear days Ibiza) is stunning. The apartment itself has a lounge with American style kitchen, bathroom , twin bedroom and mezzanine floor with double bed, WIFI is available on request . The private terrace has a barbeque, table and chairs with an outside shower beside the pool. Access to the apartment is by spiral staircase.

Fresh linen and towels are supplied weekly, the owners will meet you on arrival and will help with any information you require about the local area. There is also a welcome pack to get your holiday off to a good start with a glass of wine ,tea or coffee

We are in an area called "The Sierra Segaria" on the outskirts of a village called Sanet y Negrals and are very well situated for different types of activities including Mountaineering, Hill Walking, Bird Watching, Painting, Cycling, scuba diving, snorkelling and many more.

There are several restaurants and bars in the village and the sea, with lovely beaches is only 15 minutes away by car and mountains with picturesque villages and magnificent scenery is also just 15 minutes in the opposite direction.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

We are situated on the north costa blanca in an area called the Marina Alta, the climate is superb with an average of 320 days sun each year and in July / August the temperature can reach the high 30s, it is an area rich in history ranging from prehistoric cave paintings and roman remains to the moorish influences and explusion which was begun by jaime1 and is celebrated every year with lavish parades and costumes in the local towns and cities during the summer. Benidorm is 30 minutes away by car with waterparks and many different types of attractions

The Denia / Montesano area

Sanet y Negrals is a small village (approx. 600 people) and is one of eight set around the valley, there are several small shops which include 2 bakers, a habadashery store, a butcher, 2 small supermarkets, tobacconist (which sells stamps) 4 restaurants and 2 bars, the Plaza de Cristo is a pleasant place to sit with a coffee and get a feel for the village and the 25mtr open air swimming pool with free admission is set amongst the orange groves.There are several fiestas on throughout the year but the main one is at the end of august when there are lots of activities and normally a giant paella which is incredible to watch being constructed and tastes delicious.

We are aproximately one hour away by car from both Valencia and Alicante airports, Ryanair and Easyjet fly into these airports
There are several car rental companies if you intend to hire a car these are some of them, Europcar, Sixt, Goldcar, Solmar, Atesa, Hertz, these can all be found on the internet.
