Casa Esperanza is situated in the prestigious community of Monte Pego overlooking the mountains and close to the towns of Pego, Oliva and Denia. This spacious villa offers privacy and tranquility but is accessible to a wide range of activities (golf, tennis, horse riding, watersports, walking/hiking and sightseeing) and amenities (restaurants, local markets, theme parks and shops). 18km of wide, sandy beaches are only 10mins drive away. The villa has two levels. The living area is on one level with a large living/dining room, a fully-fitted high spec. kitchen and 3 bedrooms (all with A/C) - 1 double with en suite bathroom and 2 twin rooms. There are 2 outdoor terraces with tables and chairs to dine alfresco. The 10m x 5m solar-heated pool, with stunning mountain views, has open and covered terraces with 6 loungers and an outdoor shower.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
According to the World Heath Organisation this part of the Costa Blanca has 'one of the most environmentally perfect climates in the world'. Summers are long and hot and winters are cool with occasional rain. Dramatic mountain ranges form the backdrop to glorious sandy beaches that sometimes stretch to the horizion.
English is widely spoken but this is the real Spain where Castellano and Valenciano are spoken in equal measure and white washed 'pueblos' nestle in the valleys amongst the orange groves and the paddy fields (this is the home of the paella).
Denia / Monte Pego area
There is something for everyone to do here, from siesta to fiesta, a stroll on the beach or a run with the bulls. Fiestas occur at different times throughout the summer in almost every town. The 'Fallas' are the most important fiestas in the region of Valencia and are held between 15th and 19th March. Throughout the summer many towns hold 'Moors and Christians' festivals. In Denia you can run with the bulls during the 'Bois de la Mar' fiesta held in the first two weeks of July. On 21 June celebrate San Juan and the coming of summer by walking into the sea at midnight along with thousands of others. Not to be missed are the firework displays.
4km from the villa is the Safari park at Vergel. 45mins drive south, near Benidorm, are the Terra Mitica and Aqualandia theme parks. On the other hand you can relax by the pool, enjoy the view and get a tan. There are hundreds of good restaurants nearby serving Spanish, English, Chinese and Indian cuisines and many provide entertainment in the evenings. Local English papers and a local English radio station can provide details. In March 2008, Portal de la Marina commercial centre opened on the outskirts of Ondara providing the area with a large shopping centre, 5 screen cinema and ten pin bowling alley.

Further details outdoors: 10m x 5m solar-heated swimming pool. Children should be supervised at all times when using the pool. Beach towels can be provided on request and are complimentary as long as you launder them prior to your departure, ready for the next guests. Otherwise there is a £3.00 charge for each beach towel used. Only use the plastic tableware provided for use at poolside. A gas BBQ is provided. A clothes airer is situated on the front terrace. Because the villa is situated on a mountainside there are steps down to the front door and down to the pool. Steps may prove difficult to those with walking difficulties.
Further details
Rental prices, inclusive of accommodation and utilities, are per week for the villa which sleeps a maximum of 6 people. Prices include all laundry charges and laundry changes for stays of 2 weeks or more. High-chair and cot hire are available on request. A welcome pack is available on request. Bookings, usually Sat to Sat, but we are flexible. Arrival from 4.00pm and departure by 10.00am to allow for changeover cleaning.
Conditions
25% of the rental fee is required to confirm a booking. To secure the booking, the balance is due 8 weeks before your arrival . If booking within 8 weeks of your stay, full payment is required. A refundable security deposit of £150 is required at the time of booking, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). Strictly no smoking indoors. Smoking allowed on the outside terraces. Strictly no pets. English speaking representative on hand for help and advice.
