For the comfort of all our guests the villa is let on the basis of no smoking inside the villa although smoking is permitted in the garden areas and on the external terraced areas around the property
No pets are allowed unless by prior arrangement.
A 20% non refundable deposit is required at the time of the booking with the balance payable in full 8 weeks before departure.This money is also non refundable unless we manage to re-let the villa for the period you reserved. Referance should be made to our terms and conditions a copy of which will be provided when you make the booking.
A £200 security / breakages deposit is payable which is returned within max.14 days from vacating the property providing no damage,breakages or other matters requiring our attention are reported by our Managing Agent.
There will be an additional charge made if it is found there has been an excessive use of electricity due to the air conditioning been left on when the property is unoccupied or doors / windows left open.
Cleaning, linen and towel changes at the end of your holiday are included within the rental price.
Owner can be contacted at any time for assistance when needed.
You will be met by our english representetive and escorted to the Villa, who is also there to assist you at your convenience.
The Valenciana region
Costa Blanca is in the province of Alicante. It consists of around 200 km of Mediterranean coastline though its borders aren't strictly defined.
To the north it includes the popular resorts of Gandia, Javea and Denia and to the south it extends to the ugly development of Torrevieja. Around here marks the beginning of the Costa Calida.
A number of smallish resorts such as Moraira, Altea and Calpe are particularly popular with Spanish tourists. In contrast the high rise resort of Benidorm attracts some 5 million foreign and national tourists every year, the vast majority British.
The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The area in which Monte Pego is located is recognised by the World Health Organisation as one of the most ideal areas for local climate and quality of life. The area enjoys virtually all year round sunshine and is in one of the most scenic regions of Spain.
The area is a mix of both the traditional and modern Spanish ways of life as well as incorporating the various other cultures which have settled in the area.
Developments in this part of Spain are mainly of a low level and in keeping with the local culture and style. Over recent years a considerable amount of money has been spent in upgrading the local transport links and infrastructure.
A charming, established Spanish hillside village of bespoke designer villas overlooking the sea, mountains and the Roman fishing port of Denia in the Costa Blanca North.
Explore the mountains, visit the local water parks, or simply sit by your own pool in the serene setting that allows you to dictate the pace of life!
The Denia / Monte Pego area
Monte Pego is a high quality urbanisation development of mainly privately owned villas and is situated in an area offering good access to the nearby golf courses ,beaches and tourist attractions.The nearby town of Denia was originally very popular with the Spanish pirates and still retains its castle overlooking the gently sloping sandy beaches and sea line. Denia is now a lively town offering a good mix of the traditional and modern ways of Spanish life.There are a wide range of authentic bars,restaurants,shops and cafes catering for all ages and tastes.Throughout the year there are numerous fiestas, parades and firework displays taking place both in Denia and the nearby towns and villages.
The sea front of Denia is home to a busy working harbour where fresh produce can be purchased within minutes of it being landed.The port also operates ferries to the Balaeric Islands of Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera. There are also a number of boat trips operating from the port which will allow you to explore the coastline.
The yellow sandy beaches lead down to the crystal clear blue sea around which there are numerous rocky areas, caves and coves which are ideal for those interested in diving.This area of the coast has been awarded more EU Blue Flags for clean / safe bathing than any other area in Spain.
For the shopoholics there is a large shopping centre located at Ondara which is an approximate 10 minute drive from the villa . This contains awide range of both Spanish and English stores,a multiplex cinema complexs were a number of films are available in English . There is also an indoor bowling alley and numerous restaurants and cafes..
For those who like to play a round of golf on their holiday there are a number of quality courses located within a twenty minute drive from the villa , these include -
La sella Golf Club which is a par 72 course, Javea Golf Club which is a 9 hole par 72 course and Oliva Nova Golf Club which is an 18 hole par 72 course.
Other popular attractions in the area include -
The El Vergal Safari Park has recently closed. On most Sundays there is a market / carboot sale held on the main road near to El Verger.
The water falls at Algar are very popular and provide a cheap day out. Here you can swim in a free flowing river, jump in the water off rock platforms or cool down under the waterfalls. There are a number of restaurants available in the area as well as a large picnic area.
Wine tasting is available at various vineyards located within the Jalon Valley area which is only a short drive from our villa. There is also a wine factory within Jalon were unlimited free samples are available. On a Saturday there is also a large car boot sale within the town.
The resort of Benidorm is located about 30 minutes drive away and has a range of pleasure parks, Aqualandia Water Parks,Mundomar Sealife Centre,Benidorm Palace shows, restaurants, shops, discos and night life.
MOTORSPORT-The area is a popular base to enjoy a holiday whilst also visiting the city of Valencia which is about one hours drive away to watch the Motorcycling Moto GP, World Superbkes and Formula 1 Car GP racing which is held on the streets of Valencia.Within the local area around the villa there are also a number of good quality go-cart racing circuits available as this is a very popular sport in Spain.
The Americas Cup sailing competition was held in the region a few years ago and this attracted a large financial investment spent on upgrading the many harbour areas, roads and and infrastructure.
Other local activities available within the area include Fishing Sea/Freshwater, Horse Riding, Sailing, Water Skiing, Snorkelling and Diving, Wind Surfing,Walking, Quad Biking,Walking and cycling.It is also possible during the winter months to go ski-ing in the ski resorts located about two hours drive away and be on the beach in the afternoon.

"Great villa- great holiday"
This is one of the best villa's we have stayed in on Monte Pego. The view is fantastic and the pool was sparkling! The villa has good internet connection and English T.V. - perfect for teenagers. The villa has everything you need and was really clean and well presented. Perfect weather too - we definitely want to book again.
