About the home

Ten minute car drive to Denia. Three bedroom villa. Sleeps 5 comfortable, one double bed, one single bed and buck beds also has a sofa-bed in the dining room. Large living room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and private parking for two cars. Wooden beam ceilings in all rooms except kitchen. 4 ceiling fans, air-conditioning in living room.

Garden hanging hammock for one person and swinging bed also for one person. 6 garden chairs with table. BBQ. 4 Lounges. Garden fish pond with fountain. Also has round pool 3 meters 66 cm.

You best reach Denia via the road N 332, a wonderful road along the coastline of the costa blanca or the motorway AP7.

The Denia / Las Rotas area

The beaches of Denia, with 20km of beach in total there was plenty of beaches to stroll across. The north beaches are part of Las Marinas, from the port of Denia the first beach is called Punta del Raset beach, seeing as it is near the port it gets many visitors and there's a fantastic children play area with many opportunities for water sports.

Denia's history goes back many centuries. Visiting the castle was a great experience, the photographs from the castle were very beautiful. Its one of the best spots to take pictures of the Port of Denia. Within the castle is a museum which explains the history of Denia in more depth.

I do not regularly go horse riding although I love adventures and I was advised to take a trip around Montgo Mountain on Horse back. It does not take long to get to La Sella by taxi and just five minutes away from the La Sella golf resort.

La Sella horse riding school has nine horses and offers riding for children and adults at all levels making it a great place for the family.

The La Sella horse riding package also offers hacks through the valley passing through the woods, riding up hills and through green pastures. More experienced riders usually enjoy a faster paced hack and through the wonderful routes with paths for both cantering and galloping. Guests can choose from a one-hour hack up to a half-day excursion.

Go into the town centre in the evenings. During high season the town is buzzing. All along the sea front there are bars and restaurants. there are stalls selling everything from bags, belts, kaftans books etc. The main street (Marques de Campo) is especially good in the evening. Cafe bars are all along the street. There is often street entertainment too.

The large indoor market of Denia, many stalls with local fruit, veg, meat and fish. Very tasty and much cheaper than UK. The locals make a social event of it by stopping off for a coffee or beer.

There are many places selling pottery all over the Costa Blanca.You will see large shops selling many items on side of roads like in picture.They sell beautiful handmade pots and tiles and also statues etc and great stone garden furniture.The choice is huge and the prices are fabulous.

The villa is about an hour drive from either airports Alicante or Valencia. Car rentals are available from both airports.
It is advisable to have a car as this Villa is located in the countryside.
