This villa certainly has the 'WOW' factor and is fully equipped with everything you need for dining in style, either inside by candlelight or al fresco by a sparkling pool. The fridge by the pool ensures the wine and beers can be cool whilst the entertainment is HOT! The aromatherapy JACUZZI is also a 5 star attraction!
Being situated on a mountainside ensures that this property has wonderful views across to the sea. It also means valued tranquility away from noisy holidaymakers! We can also claim to be FREE OF THOSE WRETCHED MOZZIES!! It is a superb peaceful location but despite this, less than 5 minutes away is an excellent supermarket offering all the fresh goods and wines etc that you could possibly need.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The clean, warm blue Mediterranean Sea washes its miles of beach and coves so you can enjoy hours of sun and sea. With its variety of landscape its mild year round climate makes Javea a jewel on the Costa Blanca.
Javea itself is a small, historic town, free of high rise buildings and offers the chance to be in contact with a friendly and forthcoming local population.
Javea old town is steeped in history with torca stone porticos, gothic architecture and iron window bars and railings.
There are two main beaches in Javea - the interesting pebble beach with its beach bars at the Port end and the lovely clean sandy Arenal beach with vibrant beachside restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. Thankfully the place is devoid of amusement arcades etc and all the things we loathe. In fact, Javea is considered a 'bit posh' !
Denia / Pedreguer area
Denia is a great place for shopping and has an interesting Port with plenty of boat trips on offer - well worth a visit. We have done jet-skiing from a nearby beach and regularly picnic in this area.
The photo of the table / chairs and parasol (all available for you to use) was taken on Christmas day on Javea pebble beach near the Port (we love our beach picnics!) Here, in the summer season, you will find little bars and restaurants with that Spanish feel.
There are so many local interests within 1/2 hours drive that perhaps you should refer to our own website where we have linked to many of these. The children may enjoy the water park, safari park and a very local go-karting track near Pedreguer (5 mins) as well as the opportunity to go out on a jet ski which, thankfully, is very well supervised. Horse-riding is also only approx. a 10 minute drive from the house.
How to get there
Fly to Alicante or Valencia and Falcon's Nest is under 1 hours drive. For car hire we recommend Victoria Cars. We have always found them to be the most helpful and the collection / return stress-free. We are often well on our journey whilst other travellers are still queueing for Hertz and Europecar.
Just before you make the turn off the main road to go up towards the mountain, there is an excellent supermarket called 'Mas Y Mas' (More and More) . This great shop is just 5 minutes drive from our Villa and has a huge range of superb fresh meat, fish, fruits and vegetables etc., not to mention the wine stock! Recently opened is a huge shopping mall!! This is called Eronski and it has some marvellous shops including a huge supermarket, a Gerry Webber designer shop and Zara to name just a few. It is a maximum 10 minute drive from Falcon's Nest and is easy parking.
There are plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute drive of the house so no problem if you want a change from BBQing by the pool!

Further details indoors: The kitchen has state-of the-art cooker, food mixers, juicers and all the utensils you could possibly want - even if you wanted to spend your entire holiday cooking - unlikely of course!
It is extremely well-equipped and you will be able to produce some sensational meals from the library of cookery books (some Spanish recipes) in the well-stocked bookcase
Further details outdoors: Large terrace and little corners to sit under the shade of a palm and olive tree. There is another table on the poolside terrace in addition to the one on the upper terrace. Here you will find a fridge for your drinks under the covered 'naya' and BBQ / bar area. 6 inviting top quality sunbeds are sitting down here by the pool..... what are you waiting for! The views over the mountains are impressive and in the evenings you can look out across to Javea and the Denia area where the lights twinkle and enchant.

A cot and high chair may be hired - just notify the owners when you book. There is a Z-bed available if you have an extra young person (making 7) There is no charge for this but a charge will be made for extra linen used. If you want to use the Internet access then please request this when making your booking.

Guestbook for Falcon's Nest
The villa was spotlessly clean and we loved everything about the house. The outside is brilliant too...it stays in the sun all day, though you can find shade if you want. It's great to be able to BBQ out there without the hassle of going up and down with stuff - with the fridge & sink & storage area it's so easy. We couldn't believe how bug-free it was. We didn't see a single mozzie, wasp or ant!! To return without a single bite is unheard of for us. Also, to find showers that stay hot was a novelty for me too in Spain. The holiday and villa exceeded our expectations.... we had a really terrific time. Superb stylish property with panoramic views. We loved the peaceful mountain location away from the crowd (and the mozzies).
