The North Wales / Snowdonia / Denbigh/Flint/Conwy region
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls. Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales’ highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway. Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat.
In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe.You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast. To the south, there’s the lovely Brecon Beacons National Park, a haven of rugged moorland, forests and mountains that’s just perfect for nature lovers and walkers.
Finally, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is renowned for its wildlife, stunning coastal scenery, superb beaches and as the home of Britain’s smallest city, the City of St David’s.
Denbigh / Bodfari area
Set beneath the imposing Clwydian Hill Range is the small village of Bodfari, a town steeped in history. Evidence of settlement on the site in the form of a Celtic camp can be found dating back to 500BC. Later roles include that of a Roman encampment whilst the village church, St. Stephen’s, pre-dates the Norman Conquest. Nowadays, the village is home to a local shop and lies within easy reach of a number of traditional country pubs and restaurants.
Nearby, the Offa's Dyke pathway provides excellent walking, whilst for those interested in discovering more of the area’s history the ancient market town of Denbigh has a 13th Century castle. The charming little town also provides a host of modern amenities such as shops, pubs and restaurants and is only five miles from Bodfari.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
