Beautifully renovated, large holiday cottage with a hot tub. Set in stunning countryside where deers can be spotted regularly. Located in the small hamlet of Cefn Berain, Vale of Clwyd, this detached, holiday cottage is private and secluded, yet centrally located for a wide range of amenities and activities. Watersports, quad biking, walks and fishing are all within 2 miles, whilst the stunning North Wales coast, castles and endless attractions are within a short drive.
The main entrance to this large holiday cottage leads to a snug hall with a welcoming wood burning stove within the original inglenook fireplace. The exposed beams, leather sofa and easy chair, corner desk and oak staircase all contribute to the cosy atmosphere.
Leading on from the snug area is the large lounge with original oak floors and the original wood burning stove. At the far end, French doors open onto a large private enclosed garden area and offers stunning views of the surrounding Welsh countryside. Luscious sofas and easy chairs provide seating for up to 9 people, along with coffee table, large flat screen TV and DVD.
At the other side of the snug area is a spacious under floor heated kitchen/diner. This luxury holiday cottage comes with a beautiful, handmade kitchen, made of solid oak units and Welsh slate worktops. Fully fitted with all modern and new kitchen appliances including ceramic hob range cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer.
The dining area features large solid oak table and chairs with enough seating for up to 8 people. There are also patio doors leading from the diner area onto the patio area and garden.

This luxury cottage is situated in a convenient and much sought after location in the small hamlet of Cefn Berain, North Wales and is surrounded by totally unspoilt countryside. This property enjoys a particularly sunny position, glorious views and offers a good deal of privacy and seclusion. There is also a bus stop 90 yards from the cottage.
The cottage is situated only 1½ miles from neighbouring villages Henllan and Llannefydd. Henllan has a village shop and post office, and a friendly, welcoming pub called Llindir Inn. Llannefydd lies in an area of outstanding natural, unspoilt beauty and the local pub, Hawk and Buckle, is known in the area for its excellent pub grub.
The cathedral town of St Asaph with its Tweedmill Factory Outlets and the ancient market town of Denbigh are both 3.5 miles away. Located 10 minutes south of the main A55 coast road, the nearest beach is only 10 miles away in Rhyl, whilst other popular seaside resorts such Rhos on Sea, Llandudno and Conwy are all within 30 minutes.
Enjoy a wide range of watersports activities, quad biking and paint-balling at the Open Door activity centre, only a mile from the cottage. Good sporting and recreational facilities are available at Denbigh and St. Asaph, as well as a Ski & Snowboard Centre, Toboggans etc at Llandudno.
Visit Bodnant Garden, Loggerheads Country Park and the numerous castles, including Denbigh (3.5 miles) and Bodelwyddan (5 miles) with its museum, gallery, gardens, adventure playground, ghost walks and health spa. The immediate area offers excellent riding, fishing and countryside walks whilst the coastal path, Llandegla Forest and Llyn Brenig are very popular for walking and cycling.
Moel Fodiar – 390 metres high mountain walk. 1 mile from cottage.
Mynydd Gaer – 270 meters high mountain walk with Iron Age hill fort. 1 ½ miles from cottage.
Llyn Brenig – A selection of footpaths and trails suitable for all ages and abilities. 11 miles from the cottage.
Offa's Dyke Path – National Trail (177 miles in total) following the Welsh/English border. Starting point at Prestatyn, 12 miles.
Moel Famau, Cilcain – 554 meter high mountain walk. Popular destination for family walks, situated in a country park near Loggerheads. 16 miles
Opendoor Centre – Kayaking, Raft building and White Water rafting. 2 miles
Yachting, windsurfing and jet skiing on Rhyl Marina. 10 miles
North Wales Kitesurfing – Kite surfing school in Kinmel Bay on the North Wales coast. 12 miles
River Elwy – Fish for salmon and trout, 1 mile from the cottage. (Permits available 5.5 miles away at Llanfair Talhaearn)
