Delft is one of the Netherland's oldest towns with historic buildings and old streets and canals dating back to the 12th century. There are tons of shops, restaurants and pubs to enjoy, with frequent festivals and street bands. Some people love the Saturday market antique market, others think they sell a heap of rubbish - but it's all fun.

"Charm and ideal location - t"

Really debating whether this is a 4 or 5 star rating - comparing it with 2 previous rentals in Italy and the UK where the properties were definitely better maintained and in comparable locations - not… More

Thanks for the great review and I'm really glad you love the place. Our regular cleaner was on holiday, you had a replacement cleaner. I will try and manage this better in future. Sorry! And to your other comment, yes, the house layout is pretty much the same as it would have been when it was built in the 1600's.

"Typical Dutch Experience"

Staying in this house provides a typically Dutch experience in the beautiful city of Delft. It is centrally located being surrounded by all the Delft sites.

It suited our needs for a home base for our family (with 5 kids) in NL for a week.

Being like most other Dutch houses, steep stairs are part of the architecture, so it would not suit those who have mobility issues.

It is not luxurious, but it certainly felt like home for a week.

"all what you want"

This was a great house to stay for our family with 3 young kids. Winter time but the heating system did a great job. Cosy bedrooms, excellent view, heart of the city centre with all his nice cafe's and restaurants. The children will recomment the house because of the candy shop next door,a nice guy who sells traditional candies. The kids find a coin in the house and spent it with joy. The splitt levels in the house made it possible to have a separate tv room and dining room. We will return one time : )
