The house is a fifteen minute walk down an ancient donkey path, through olive groves, to the part sandy/rocky cove known as Cala Deia,with waterside restaurants where there are two restaurants on the water's. A five minute walk to village centre for supplies, and first class restaurants. Backery serves fresh baked bread daily and all English newspapers. The mountains and sea offer wonderful walking, including a path that follows the beautiful coastline or over the mountain all the way to Soller.
How to get there
fly to palma airport where a hire car or taxi can be arranged Three quarters of an hour from Palma airport. As the house is close to Deia village amenities car hire not absolutely essential. Cars are available at airport or taxi service can be arranged to bring renters peacefully to the house and car hire can be arranged in Soller on arrival.
