Come and visit The Stables at Croome Court, an immaculately presented house in the grounds of the National Trust's Croome Park Estate http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-vh/w-visits/w-findaplace/w-croome/w-croomepark-photo_gallery.htm

Croome Park was Lancelot 'Capability' Brown's first commission, and this in itself would justify your visit, but just a short drive takes you west to Great Malvern & the magnificent Malvern Hills, or east to Stratford-on-Avon & the Cotswold villages of Broadway & Chipping Campden. The local area is of course also popular for walking, cycling, birdwatching and fishing.

Our nearest shops are found in the historic Geogian riverside town of Pershore, there are so many wonderful eating pubs in the vicinity, the nearest is just down the road.

The house you will be staying in provides:-

3 Beautiful bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin).

2 Bathrooms (both have a bath & 1 also has a shower cubicle) plus a separate downstairs cloakroom.

1 High-ceilinged Living Room with Sky TV/DVD player & plenty of comfortable seating.

1 Snug with DVD player & DvDs & board games (ideal for children to disappear to!).

1 High-ceilinged Dining-kitchen with real wood floors, black granite worktops, gas range cooker, dishwasher & waste disposal unit.

Wi-fi Internet access, towels & bedding, hair dryer, high chair, cot, bicycle store, washing machine, iron & ironing board are all provided.

Croome Stables is ideally situated in a beautiful rural landscape yet within easy access (via motorways & main roads to both nearby local cities such as Cheltenham and Gloucester and the idylic Cotswold towns and villages of Broadway and Chipping Campden.

The historic Georgian towns of Malvern Spa, Droitwich Spa and Pershore are each unique and worth a visit.

Defford

Pershore has attractions on throughout the year so your visit can be timed to coincide with one of the many events. There are flower shows, open gardens, fêtes and village walkabouts as well as the Plum Fayre on August Bank Holiday Monday each year.

Pershore's new Number 8 Community Arts Centre has a theatre/cinema, an Art Gallery and a bar and coffee shop.

Pershore also has a new Sports & Leisure Centre with great facilities including a 25 metre Swimming Pool, Health Suite, Studio, Sports Hall, Solarium and Fitness Room with all the latest equipment.

Animal lovers will enjoy the agricultural shows, riding competitions and dog shows. Pershore Abbey hosts many different concerts throughout the year.

Spend a tranquil dayfishing or stroll alongside the river and take a hamper and stop for a picnic. Boats can be hired for a leisurely journey along the Avon or pick up our circular walk leaflets from the Tourist Information Centre in the Town Hall.
