Gold Awarded end terrace cottage situated in the grounds of Shell Cove House with use of secluded beach and heated swimming pool. The cottage has its own private patio and secure, sunny garden. Furnished with a modern nautical theme.
The cottage has a porch to lounge/diner and stairs. Wooden floor and French door to patio. Double sofa-bed. Spacious kitchen. Cloakroom. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, both with their own en suite. Master double bedroom with French door to balcony with sea views. En suite shower room. Twin bedroom with en suite bathroom.

We offer an oasis of peace and beauty away from the crowds and yet near all the attractions of South Devon. On the coastal footpath with lovely walks to the nearby towns. Good pubs a few minutes away and a meal service available.
There are extensive grounds and numerous facilities including the beach with rock pooling, fishing, and beachcombing. Heated pools, tennis-court, croquet lawn, childrens play area and games room and bird-hide gazebo. Ideal for a holiday all year round for both families and couples. Wi-Fi available from reception 24hrs 7 days a week.

With beautiful sub tropical gardens to stroll in, extensive lawns for children to play and numerous facilites there is always plenty to do. From our bird hide gazebo on the cliff top you may see the dolphins off the beach or the falcons on the cliff. The beach is aptly described by our guests as a 'famous five' beach, a natural haven with caves and coves to explore and a wonderful seclection of shells to seek. BOOKING CONDITIONS To make a booking please telephone 01626 862523
DEPOSIT: We require a deposit of one third of the tariff price. Cheques should be made payable to Shell Cove House. We do not accept credit/debit card payments.
BALANCE: Due by cheque two weeks prior to arrival. No reminder will be sent.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: In addition to the balance a separate £100 security deposit cheque should be sent. This is destroyed after departure if the property is left clean and intact.
CANCELLATION: In the event of cancellation any monies paid are normally non-refundable and the full cost of the holiday will be due. All holidays must be covered by cancellation insurance.If we have to cancel the booking for any reason we will provide as much notice as possible and return the full deposit immediately on notice of cancellation. Liability is restricted and limited to the monies paid only and no compensation is payable due to cancelled bookings.

Shell Cove is perfectly located to visit the many attractions of Devon. On the coastal footpath you can stroll to the local pretty town of Dawlish (1/4 mile) and feed the ducks on the brook or visit the beach. Take the famous coastal railway along the sea to Exeter or Torbay. A beautiful walk along the sea to Teignmouth, a charming Regency town with shops, galleries and tea rooms. Wonderful childrens play area, the prom and pier for old fashioned fun. Catch the little ferry to the pretty seaside village of Shaldon and visit the little Zoo or find the smugglers tunnel to the Ness beach. Spoilt for beaches in the area with Shell Cove at the bottom of the garden, Blue Flag beach at Dawlish Warren, Beaches at Teignmouth and Dawlish and across the Exe to the dunes of Exmouth. Bird watching on the world famous nature reserve. Catch a steam train to Dartmouth and visit Agatha Christies holiday home. Numerous National Trust properties within easy reach and Powderham castle just a short drive.
