Together with a 500 acre nature reserve, shops and pubs make it a destination for everyone. enjoy Dawlish Carnival Week and witness the fantastic Dawlish Airshow at August Bank Holiday. The Dawlish Triathlon takes place at the end of September - three more great reasons to visit!
The accommodation is luxurious throughout, with French oak flooring, underfloor heating, a wood burner, top quality country kitchen with solid wood work surface, inclusive internet access and some fantastic entertainment facilities. The decor throughout this large bungalow is simple and classy, the 3 bedrooms sleep 6 people comfortably, and there is plenty of off road parking for up to 4 vehicles. A 30 minute walk, or a very short car journey takes you into Dawlish, a thriving Victorian seaside town on the English Riviera. Famous for its black swans and railway line that runs right next to the sea, there is plenty to see and do. For families the Dawlish Warren Blue Flag beach and nature reserve is a great day out, with miles of sandy beaches, pirate-themed mini-golf, go-karting and an assortment of amusements and children's rides, or simply wander among the seaside shops eating an ice cream! Step through the front door into the impressive entrance hall with French oak flooring and luxurious underfloor heating (throughout the entire home). There is a useful cloakroom off the hallway. There are two living rooms in this property. The first is spacious and homely with a cosy woodburner for cooler Spring evenings (an initial log supply is thoughtfully provided) and french doors providing access to the enclosed garden and a view to the river and the other side of the valley. Quality furnishings provide ample seating and a large TV with Freeview, basic Sky package and surround sound ensure guests entertainment needs are well catered for. This home is very well-equipped with a host of features including: internet access, a DVD player, DVD selection, iPod docking station, selection of books, and a children's toy box. The second living room also has a television and quality furnishings also providing ample seating. French doors in this room provide access to the front of the Old Pool House.
The delightful country kitchen is a traditional classic shaker style with a modern touch. The quality cream cupboards, extensive solid wooden worktops, butler sink and all the equipment you could need make this kitchen a pleasure to cook in. Facilities include a fridge, separate freezer, electric fan oven, grill, 8-burner gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, blender, toaster, kettle, and of course a good supply of pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. A high chair is provided. There is an open-plan dining area in this room, easily seating 6 people. A decked veranda can be accessed from the kitchen - very useful if you plan to lunch outdoors in the fresh air.
Bedroom 1: The impressive master bedroom with modern en suite shower room. You'll sleep very well in the luxurious super-king size bed. French doors lead outside onto a beautiful decked veranda, perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the sunshine whilst absorbing views of the garden and and fields beyond - a great start to the day!
Bedroom 2: A lovely king-size bedroom with french doors that lead onto the sunny patio outside. Furniture includes an ottoman and a solid wood wardrobe as well as bedside tables and lamps.
Bedroom 3: Twin beds. A large chest of drawers and a wardrobe provide plenty of storage space for your belongings and a window affords stunning views of the garden and valley beyond.
There are 2 modern bathrooms.
The family bathroom has that 'wow' factor when you walk in. This is a high quality bathroom with a bath, shower overhead, WC, hand basin, and stainless steel heated towel rail. It is tiled throughout. The perfect bathroom to have a relaxing bath in after a day at the beach.
The master bedroom en suite is also of a very high specification and tiled throughout, with a large corner shower, WC and hand basin.
Bath towels and hand towels are kindly included.
This property boasts a very large garden, leading to two 3-acre fields, a paddock and stable. You are welcome to bring your horse at no additional cost. Beyond the fields is a river, and beautiful unspoilt Devonshire countryside. As well as your private fenced garden, there are 3 acres of communal garden and grounds to explore. A charcoal BBQ is provided, so why not dine al-fresco and make the most of the sunshine and the delicious local produce. Within the grounds, there is a children's play area with wooden climbing frame, slide and swings.

For the adults, thereâ??s an 18-hole golf course and a pedestrianised shopping area - enough to keep everyone happy.

CYCLE TO - Cycling on the Exe Estuary Trail is an environmentally friendly way of seeing some amazing scenery. If you are feeling adventurous cycle from this beautiful holiday home to Exeter Cathedral (about a 10 miles each way). Along this route you will be cycling through a beautiful wildlife reserve. The marshes are home to such species as lapwings and redshanks plus many more all year round. There is a train service between Dawlish Warren and Exeter if you wish to get the train back.
DRIVE TO - Teignmouth and Shaldon are just a 10 and 15 minute drive away, where you can visit other beaches and wander among the seaside shops while eating an ice cream!
You will also be just 13 miles (25 minutes) from the historic city of Exeter with it's spectacular cathedral and great shops, and 12 miles in the other direction is Torquay and the English Riviera with its numerous tourist attractions and lively nightlife and entertainment. Dartmoor National Park is again only 16 miles to the west, and if you want to go further afield, why not take a drive into Cornwall. Dawlish is the perfect place to base your holiday in this beautiful part of the country.

"A beautiful home in a fantastic setting."
This beautifully decorated bungalow was stunning. Each room has been carefully presented to give the Whow factor. Superbly comfortable with good quality furnishings and everything you could need to make your stay perfect.
Set in a beautiful location, with views from the garden extending over green fields sloping up from the trickling stream, at the bottom of the valley. An artists dream!
Within driving distance of many local places of interest.
