Sunny View is a 2 Bedroomed Bungalow, sleeping up to 4 guests. It is south-facing and set amongst the lawns and gardens of the 4* Welcome Holiday Park, located a few minutes flat walk (500m) from the beautiful, sandy, award-winning Blue Flag Beach of Dawlish Warren.
The Bungalow consists of:-
* Open-plan, fully equipped Kitchen, with electric cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle.
* Lounge Area, with 3 seater Sofa, Armchair,Freeview TV/DVD Player.
* Dining Area, with Dining Table seating up to 4 guests.
* Double Bedroom with Freeview TV/DVD Player, Wardrobe, Chest of Drawers, Bedside Tables and Bedside Lamps.
* Twin Bedded Room with Chest of Drawers, Bedside Table and Bedside Lamp.
* Bathroom with Walk-In Shower, Wash Basin and WC
There are electric heaters in every room and the cost of electricity is included in the price.
Sunny View Bungalow is available to let for weekend or midweek breaks (minimum 3 nights), or weekly holidays, between 15th March and 15th January each year.
Bed linen is provided and beds will be made up ready for your arrival. Please note that towels are not provided but are available for hire. There is a high chair and travel cot available for hire. Please give us notice if you wish to hire any item.
There is a wide array of Family Entertainment at the 4 star Welcome Holiday Park, Available Daily from the end of March until the end of October, including:-
* Indoor Swimming Complex with 4 Heated Pools (Sports Pool, Fun Pool, Toddlers Pool and Bubble Pool/Jacuzzi). All pools have lifeguards on duty and there are Showers and Changing Rooms.
* Jolly Roger Kids Club for 5 - 17 year olds
* Evening Entertainment for all the Family in the Cruisers Club
* Amusement Arcade/Sports Ground/Playground/Crazy Golf
Other Facilities Available, from the end of March until the end of October:-
* Bar, Restaurant & Take-Away
* Shops - Chemist & Pharmacy, Gift Shop, Sweet Shop, Fish & Chip Shop. There are 2 Supermarkets just across the road and Sainsburys is a 5 minute drive away.
* Launderette - Coin-operated washing machines and tumble driers, with washing liquid and fabric softener included.
Please note that there is a charge of £5.00 per adult and £3.00 per child over the age of 5, per week, for the use of the Swimming Pools and Cruisers Club, payable direct to the Welcome Holiday Park Reception, if you wish to use these facilities. Under 5's go free.
Also, please note that these facilities are available from the end of March, until the end of October each year, although the Bungalow is available for short breaks and holidays from mid-March until Mid-January.
Dawlish Leisure Centre is just a few minutes drive away and is open all year round (except Bank Holidays) for swimming plus lots of sports and activities.

We do not supply Towels, however these can be hired for £2.00 per set (one bath and one hand towel).
High Chair and Cot are available for hire at £10.00 each per week, or £6.00 each for 3/4 night short breaks.

Devon is one of the most beautiful counties in the U.K. and is the only one with two separate coastlines!
The Welcome Holiday Park in Dawlish Warren is a great base from which to explore the vast array of attractions that Devon has to offer. There are Zoos, a Donkey Sanctuary, Adventure Parks, Steam Railways, Boat Trips, Indoor and Outdoor Sports, Castles, Caves, Historical Homes and Museums galore.
The local area surrounding the Welcome also has plenty to offer. There are lots of towns and villages to explore, as well as an abundance of lovely beaches and coves. The lovely and popular coastal town of Dawlish is just over a mile away. The town is heavily influenced by the Georgian and Victorian periods and there is a delightful park with a brook running through the centre of town, where you will find rare black swans and other wildlife.
Dartmoor National Park is nearby - its 368 square miles is popular for walking, cycling, climbing, horse riding, fishing and water sports.
Just a 30 minute drive from Dawlish Warren is the scenic and ever-popular Torquay, with its myriad of beautiful beaches and coves.
The same distance in the opposite direction brings you to the historic city of Exeter, with its Cathedral, Quayside shops, Bars and Restaurants, with Cycle Hire and Water Sports, award-winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) and an abundance of Shops and Eateries!
A short, flat walk (500m) from Sunny View Bungalow is Dawlish Warren's long, sandy beach, which in 2013 was awarded the Internationally renowned Blue Flag Beach for the 15th consecutive year.
The Blue Flag is only awarded to those beaches that pass the very strictest criteria for environmental management, visitor facilities, cleanliness and clean bathing water.
Judged to be one of the top resorts in the UK, Dawlish Warren attracts people from all around the world and has something for everyone.
There is a 500 acre National Nature reserve, which is a special site of scientific interest with its flocks of wildfowl and wading birds.
There is an 18 hole golf course which welcomes visitors with its "turn up and play" system, and is open all year round.
There are excellent Walks and Cycle Tracks, and a wide variety of Pubs, Cafes, Restaurants and Shops.
The many children's activities and amusements make it an ideal place for families.
As a base you can explore the beautiful Teign Valley, Dartmoor and Exmoor and enjoy the many attractions that Devon has to offer.
In summer, there is a weekly open-air market and car boot sale, as well as steam train rides running along the coast.

"Clean tidy and spacious"
Loved the decor and the fact that the children's room had proper size single beds. Enjoyed the cream tea. Situated in quiet end of park. Loved the lighting outside in the evenings. A bonus having a t.v in both lounge and bedroom. Location was good for us as places we went to were within a 35 minute drive. Bungalow was very clean, tidy and spacious with most items needed for everyday use. Plenty of information about the area via leaflets.

This is a super little holiday chalet. Very well presented with improvements such as a walk in shower which made it very suitable as a venue to take an elderly relative. Although on a holiday park it was quiet even with the railway close by. The facilities were excellent and the welcome cream tea, start-off supply of sugar, tea and coffee and the pint of milk really gave the impression that the owners wanted you to enjoy your stay and be as comfortable as possible - the benefits of staying in a privately owned chalet as opposed to one owned by the company Even though the chalet not owned by the holiday park company for a small fee I was able to access the pool. The beach was just a short walk away and within a 10 minute drive were plenty choices for food. I would highly recommend

We are sorry you found the shower below the standard we would have wished, the problem was not mould, but rather that the silicone around the base of the shower tray had become discoloured. The silicone has now been completely replaced.

"Clean, well equipped accommodation"
Normally go abroad for summer holidays but decided to stay in the UK this year. When we arrived at the holiday park we picked up the key and went into bungalow. Greeted with a handwritten 'welcome' card from the owner along with fresh scones, jam, clotted cream and everything for a nice cuppa after travelling - what's not to like!
Although on a holiday park, the bungalow is in a quiet location with all facilities and the beach within a 5/10 min walk.
The bungalow was well equipped with everything we needed and spotlessly clean.

We had a really lovely stay at Sunny View Bungalow. It was a very rainy and windy week in January and we were warm and cosy. The chalet is well-equipped and nicely furnished. Alan and Lynne were extremely helpful with all questions. There are books, games and dvids in the chalet plus a television with freeview but no wifi, which suited us as our 15 year old needed an incentive to get on with his GCSE revision! Would definitely recommend.
