The cottage was easy to find, in a good location, well-presented/equipped and ideal for the four of us (2 adults & 2 children - 5 & 2 yrs old). It was nice to find scones and clotted cream awaiting us, along with milk in the fridge allowing an essential cup of tea to be brewed on arrival. Location wise, it was within good reach for all our planned excursions and over the course of a week visits included Plymouth, Newquay Zoo, St Austell, Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Isaac, Wadebridge, Padstow (via the Camel Trail), Truro & Crealys (ideal for our young children). We didn't do much in the way of beach visits as the weather was a bit uncertain but the highlight for us and the kids was the Camel Trail (on hired bikes) from Wadebridge to Padstow. I'd have no hesitation in booking this cottage again or recommending it to friends. |
