Home description
Our delightful 3 bedroom villa with private heated pool is ideally situated in the select development of Sunridge Woods, Davenport. The peaceful location we enjoy makes it the ideal choice for rest and relaxation after a day at the theme parks or exploring the many other attractions Florida has to offer.
Driving time to Disney is less than 20 minutes and all the other major area attractions are close by. Champions Gate Golf Course and the local shops and restaurants are just a few minutes away.
Our single storey home will accommodate up to 8 people & is furnished to a high standard & is extremely comfortable.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area
There are so many reasons to visit Orlando. Top of the list for most people is Disney world & the other theme parks, but apart from mountaineering activities you can find virtually anything you need to make your holiday perfect.
Florida is a year round holiday destination, it's official nickname is the Sunshine State. Summers throughout the state are long, warm, and fairly humid. Winters are mild with periodic invasions of cool to occasionally cold air. Annual temperatures for the state range from average lows of 58 to 73 to average highs of 77 to 84. Rainfall.. There are two wet periods, late winter/ early spring & during the summer . The dry period is - October through November. Occassionally the rain can be torrential but it soons dries out in the Florida sunshine.
If you haven't visited America before, the huge choice and variety of places to eat will be unreal and be prepared to share a meal (just ask for an extra plate) the portions are huge!! Here's another good tip - pack light- you will need lots of extra space, because it is hard to resist the great shopping and fantastic prices. Instead of buying new clothes to take with you buy them when you arrive and save. Shoes are great value too!! and electronics and luxury and designer goods and... well find out for yourself.
Davenport / Sunridge Woods area
For the keen golfers, there are dozens of Golf courses - the nearest being Champions Gate which is just a few minutes from the Villa.
Fishing is available on site or on the many lakes in the area. Or you can take a trip to the coast if you want to try fishing for Baracuda and Marlin! With all that water around there is no end to the range of water activities from water-skiing to swimming with dolphins - it's all here! Horse riding stables with facilities for all abilities are just a short drive from the villa.
How to get there
Fly to Orlando International - Sunridge Woods is 30 miles from the airport or Fly to Sanford International - Sunridge Woods is 50 miles from the airport (1 hour). The best deal for cheap direct flights from Manchester to Sanford is Travel City Direct. On the downside at peak times Sanford immigration can be a long queue at the end of a long flight. Flying into Orlando International - recent feedback on Virgin has not been positive, but it is probably still the best option from Manchester.
Taking small children to Florida? My advice is fly direct do NOT book connecting flights. If the 1st leg flight is delayed, rushing around an airport to make your connection is a bit of a nightmare and if you miss the connecting flight (as we did) OMG unimaginable!!!! Book direct flights it is not worth the hassle for the small saving you might make.
