About the home

Our Home in the sun is fully equipped for a relaxing holiday. All rooms have t.v. and there is a playstation in the den. Games room has pool table, table tennis, darts, foosball and air hockey. There are two patio tables with chairs and loungers for relaxing. There are restaurants and bars local to the home and the whole area is surrounded by competition standard golf courses. The home is 10/15 minutes from Disney and 25/30 minutes from Universal. Calabay Parc is one of the best locations in the area and is well maintained. The shopping malls in the Orlando area are second to none with all needs catered for.

Facilities

Further details indoors:
All linens, towels, face cloths etc. are provided. All crockery, cutlery etc. is available for 12 persons. The washing machine and dryer are located in a separate utility room. There is a driveway which enables two vehicles to be parked. The pool area is fully screened and pool heat is available if requested at an additional cost. There are hairdryers in each bathroom. Two sets of golf clubs (one mens, one ladies) are available for guests use.

The covered lanai give shelter from the sun or rain if needed and the main patio table is located here with six chairs. There is a further table with six chairs further round the pool. This is a mainly rental location and the area is therefore very quiet.

Management Company on hand in case of emergency with all telephone numbers/contacts listed in guest directory.

Conditions

A refundable breakages deposit in the sum of £250/$500 is required which will be refunded two weeks after the end of the rental period.
A deposit of £150/$300 is required per week booked to confirm the booking.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area region

Orlando, as everybody knows, is the home of Mickey Mouse. But Disney, Universal and all the other theme parks in the area are not the only features of this area that give the holidaymaker a wonderful time.The weather is usually very pleasant, there are numerous restaurants and bars in the area together with huge superstores for every day grocery shopping. You are never more than an hour away from a fabulous sandy beach, and there are many championship golf courses for all standards of golfer.

The Davenport / Calabay Parc area

Davenport is very close to the major roadway link to Tampa and Miami. You can go in any direction from the house and find something interesting to do. Geographically, Florida is a large state with up to 150 park areas that can provide you with quality recreational experiences. Swimming, camping, hiking, fishing, or simply reflecting on Florida's natural and cultural resources are but a few of the great opportunities available in Florida State Parks.

Virgin has direct flights to Orlando, but a search of the internet will often give you comparative flights which may have stop-overs

“Exactly what we expected from the description.” Excellent villa, very clean and obviously well looked after and cared for. It felt like a home from home and very welcoming after a long flight from The UK. This was our second trip to Calabay Parc, but the first to this villa and we found it ideally situated for the theme parks, Old Town and the factory outlets on the 192. It is a very quite area which we found was very relaxing. The heated pool was very well used, particularly after returning from the theme parks in the late evening. Hi Laura and Paul,

Well, what can we say - just a fantastic holiday !!! When we arrived at the villa, we were so excited, you both have a most beautiful house. we were spoilt, it took us about 2 days to have a good look around. The kids just loved the pool - I just loved the jacuzzi (after a long day that was bliss) and so lovely and warm. The boys thought the games room was excellent. I was spoilt by the walk-in wardrobe ha ha. Such a comfort, it was so so nice to relax there.

Thank you so much for renting the house to us - it was all amazing - I just need to go back ha ha it was so sad to leave.

Laura and Paul's Villa at Calabay Park was just perfect for ourselves and our family, the house has just about everything we needed for our time in Florida, although a short distance away from all the main attractions, this made it perfect for relaxing after an action packed day at the theme parks, We would recommend it to anyone!

Dear Laura and Paul

Yes we are all back home safe and sound trying to adjust to life in the real world! We all had a wonderful time in your fantastic villa. There really is everything you need there and the luxurious facilities were perfect.

Thank you both once again for being so flexible and accommodating when we were 'stranded' travellers. We were also looked after very well by USA Vacation homes and what could have turned out to be a very stressful time actually turned out to be an unexpected extension of our holiday.

Hi Laura, Just wanted to give you some positive feedback:-

Overall the villa was brilliant, plenty of space, clean and nicely decorated.
We all had a great time and there was more than enough space for everyone.
The pool was just perfect and your advice not to use the pool heating was spot on.
The location of the villa was also great with good access to the 192 and the I4.
The air con was great and we followed your tips and rules to minimise costs.

Thanks again for the use of the golf clubs. They came in very handy and we did play
The 9 hole course several times. It was also very reasonable at $17 for 18 holes inc cart.
The villa is in a great location for a number of golf courses.

The kids also made good use of the pool table in the garage.

Overall a great holiday. Good balance of Golf, a couple of theme parks and shopping.
We also had a couple of day trips to the beach. (Both Daytona and Clearwater).
As I said we are looking to comeback next year and will let you know in the next few months.
I am under a lot of pressure from the kids.

Ps your tips and hints emails were great and came in very handy.
