Home description
Our home is loved and cared for by ourselves and our wonderful managing company in Florida and only let privately which makes a huge difference. Furnished to an extremely high standard. This is now considered one of the very best on offer. Only 15 mins from the main gate of Disney, 30 mins from Universal Studios with the new Harry Potter attraction opening spring 2010 and Seaworld, 1.5 hours to the Gulf Coast beaches and 1 hour to the Gold Coast beaches and Cape Canavaeral so much to do and all in very easy reach.
Private pool area with spa, lit for evening use, spectacular sunsets with views over the National Forest. With a west facing pool you can enjoy the sun all day with a large shaded area for those who do not want to sit in the sun.
Great shopping and eating within 10 mins of the house, just everything you could possibly wish for, we have even had people get married in our garden it is so wonderful. This villa is truly spectacular as it is secluded which often Orlando villas are not. We have houses either side of us but the back has only miles and miles of national forest and is truly spectacular, without doubt "Florida Bliss". Pool can be heated and is recommended during some months of the year.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area
All year fun, sun and relaxtion, Orlando truly has it all, you can do as much or as little as you want, Orlando/Florida truly is the most diverse location we have found on our many travels. All the fun of the theme parks if you wish but also romatic getaways and peace and quiet - what more could you want. Cultural activities in the city of Orlando - beautiful gardens and museums also.
Davenport area
Highlands Reserve is a wonderful development or privately owned villas. Great golf course, shopping on your doorstep as well as great restaurants and all you could wish for.
How to get there
Our home is just 30 kms from Orlando International Airport. Virgin Atlantic and British Airways fly direct from the UK and British Airways also fly to Tampa which can be more cost effective it is just an hours drive from the villa. Charter flights also go to Orlando Sanford airport from the UK mainly in the peak months. Many US airlines fly to Orlando via their US hubs this is also a more cost effective option usually involving one short stop. This can also make for interesting two centre holidays with a stopover in Washington DC, Charlotte and Philadelphia to name but a few.
All major car hire companies are on site at both Orlando airports and at MCO they are in terminal so no need for on and off buses to get your car, just collect your bags and your car and away you go, a really welcome bonus after a long flight.

Further details indoors: The accommodation provided is luxurious in all ways, fully air-conditioned throughout for your comfort and provides entrance hall, dining room, large family room with cathedral ceiling, kitchen, nook with comfortable seating overlooking the caged pool and spa. It has five bedrooms (three doubles and two twins).
The second master bedroom has a 5 foot bed with adjacent full bathroom that can double as a pool/cabana bath if you wish for your time in the pool.
The family room is spacious with ample seating and benefits from cable TV, VCR, DVD and CD. There is a formal dining room laid with fine china and glassware for that special meal. We can even arrange a cook if you so wish. Just perfect for putting your feet up after a busy day at the parks.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay as special as can be a BBQ can be hired for a small charge if you wish locally.
There is also a washing machine and tumble drier available in the utility area along with an ironing board and iron just is case you feel inspired !!
There is a large caged pool area with spa with a large covered lanai so you can get away from the sun if you so wish. Many homes do not have this . 4 loungers, 2 recliners with stools together with table and 4 further chairs, so outdoor seating provided for all our very special guests . The area is lit for evening use to enable the perfect end to the perfect day - sunsets are truly special in Florida and the view through the trees in the forest is very special.
Property also has a Playstation 2 and selection of games installed in one of the twin bedrooms and there are DVD players in master bedroom suite and in the family room with a selection of DVDs for viewing. This all should keep young and old alike entertained and amused for hours.
Further details outdoors: You have your own pool and spa as well as tennis courts and communal pool on site. Access through onsite management company.

Pool heating is recommended during the winter months this can be paid with booking or locally if you change your mind. There is a pool cover which helps enormously to keep the pool at temperature during the colder months. It must be noted that if pool heating is not pre-ordered it will take a couple of days for it to come to temperature.
Conditions
£250 deposit is payable with full balance and will be returned as soon as we have confirmation of any breakages etc. Very proud to say we have never had to withhold this from any of our very special guests.
Safety fence around pool area is provided to make it safe even for little ones.
