The Bahama Bay Resort is a gated community situated on the banks of Lake Davenport. Caribbean style buildings and lush landscaping provide an attractive and welcoming place for guests to enjoy the best of the Florida weather, with all the amenities you would expect from a first class resort.

Both our Condos are a complete home from home, fully furnished and sleeping up to 8 guests each. There are 3 bedrooms (2 queen doubles and 1 twin singles) and 2 bathrooms (one en suite), with a double sofa-bed in the living area. A foldaway child's cot is also provided. With a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher & microwave), 2 TVs, DVD player, mini-stereo, washing machine and tumble dryer there is everything you could need.

One apartment is located on the ground floor, so may be suitable for wheelchair users and guests requiring accommodation without stairs. The other is on the first floor.

The Resort's excellent on-site amenities include include 4 heated outdoor pool areas, 6 spa pools, Kiddies splash-pool & play area plus a tennis & basketball court, volleyball area and fishing dock. The Clubhouse has a 24-hour Reception, Concierge Desk, relaxing lounge areas with WiFi connection, mini-market, gym and sauna facilities, Eleuthera Health Spa & Salon, children’s entertainment area, separate internet area and a ticket & information point. Mambo’s poolside bar and grille offers refreshments by the Clubhouse pool with the Tradewinds Restaurant, Pelican Lounge and Margaritas Bar being located on the lakeshore next to the sandy beach.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area

Bahama Bay Resort is located in Central Florida, just minutes away from the Walt Disney World Resort and very close to all of Orlando's attractions.

Bahama Bay Resort can be found just off US-27, near the intersection of US-192 (Irlo Bronson Hwy) on the east side down Florence Villa Grove Road. It is located directly on the shores of beautiful Lake Davenport, giving the resort a peaceful and natural setting.

Conveniently, Bahama Bay Resort is just 15 minutes from Walt Disney World Resort, 20 minutes from Sea World, 30 minutes from Universal Studios Orlando and 45 minutes from downtown Orlando and Orlando International Airport.

Theme Park & Dinner Show tickets are available from the Ticket & Information point in the Clubhouse. These are competitively priced and help avoid the queues at the park entrance.

How to get there

Fly into either Orlando International Airport (MCO), Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFA) or Tampa International Airport (TPA)
Travel times from each Airport to Bahama Bay Resort are approx 45 mins, 65 mins or 75 mins respectively on good roads (freeways). Full directions and maps will be provided to the guest before they travel.

There are several well know car hire companies at each airport and pickup is easy and straightforward, however we would recommend pre-booking car hire from the UK before your travel.

A welcome food pack can be arranged for your arrival, basics to get you started without the hassle or shopping as soon as you get there. This can be requested at the time of booking with us and usually costs around £25.

Arrive and depart of any day of the week, minimum 3 days rental bookings taken. Check in is from 4pm on day of arrival. Check-out is usually by 10am on day of depature, but a late check-out may be requested for a nominal extra charge.

Conditions

The resort is open 365 days of the year, changeover day flexible. Minimum 3 days rental bookings taken.

Cleaning - the apartment is thoroughly cleaned by our Management Company at the end of each stay. All reservations will be charged a one-off cleaning fee of US$65 which is payable on arrival at the resort.

A £100 /$200 deposit is required per booking, refundable up to 13 weeks in advance of departure. Full settlement of the balance must be received by the owners 6 weeks prior to departure. Thank you so much for letting us use your apartment at Bahama Bay. I can honestly say that my family had the time of their lives there... what a beautiful place. Everything was wonderful and we enjoyed it all!

I hope that we will have the opportunity to get to Bahama Bay again... like I said, it was the most beautiful place we had ever been too. Laying by the pool at the Tradewinds, you would never know that you were in Florida..it seemed like it was the Carribean! And we were so blessed.. the weather was beautiful everyday! We have all come home with tans because we spent everyday in the pool. My son (who is 6) met a wonderful friend from Northern Ireland, and they spend almost everyday swimming together, and now they will be writing to eachother as well! We will have wonderful memories ( and about 800 pictures!!) to remind us of our amazing vacation.
