The upmarket shopping & leisure area of Champions Gate is a 2 minute drive away boasting a Publix supermarket and dining options. The short drive to Disney is complemented by direct access to World Drive from the nearby I4. For golfers an array of top class courses are all within a 10 minute drive & for the shopoholics your credit card will be in 'meltdown' in the nearby shopping areas.

The accommodation was chosen to facilitate a large family with ample living space. All bed linen and towels are provided and there is a superbly appointed kitchen for preparation of meals.

Pull-out bed settee in living area can accommodate 2 guests !! The Master Bedroom enjoys a large en suite area with walk-in shower and his & hers vanity areas. The most glorious of sunrises can be viewed from your own private balcony which over looks tranquil conservation. Watch the water birds at play or just soak up the glorious sunshine - the choice is yours. Bedroom 2 boast its own en-suite facility, with bedroom 3 & 4 have a share of the 3rd bathroom.

Outside the pool can be heated upon request. Its location promotes a safe environment for the kids to play and a private tranquil outlook over conservation. For that alfresco meal an outdoors barbecue can be rented upon request. The pool area boasts a Lanai to escape the heat when necessary. The Davenport / The Sanctuary at West Haven area

In addition to the theme parks, golf and shopping options around Orlando, there are many other attractions and activities that mean you never need to do the same thing twice! For details on the numerous other attractions why not visit the brand new interactive visitor centre, Polk Outpost 27, which is located at the junction of I-4 and US-27 and is only minutes from the Villa.

The main theme parks offer spectacular entertainment in the evenings, however, Davenport has plenty of other options for night time entertainment, including numerous restaurants. Dinner shows are always a interesting alternative, while the variety of dining options located between the Villa and the International Drive area is limitless.

For stocking up on groceries and other essentials, the Villa is less than 5 minutes away from a Publix superstores. A pharmacy is also within a 5 minute drive of the Villa, together with a DVD rental store, a dry cleaners, a hairdresser, beauty salon and numerous fast food outlets.

For the golfing enthuiast, for 12 months of the year, they will find the golf courses in Florida open and challenging. And from May through October the golf courses are never crowded, you can pick your tee time and be assured of a leisurely round. Also, many of the private courses are open to the public during these months.

HAPPY TIMES AT SUNNY DAZE

This was our second holiday staying on the Sanctuary development at West Haven, which is a gated community located south of Orlando just off the I-4 near "Champions Gate". We found this to be a great location - near enough to the main attractions of the Orlando area (Disney is just a 15-20 minute drive for example) but also affording us a good level of privacy and security.

Just 5 minutes away there is a small retail park which has a Publix supermarket for all your day to day needs, a Chilis restaurant as well as a McDonalds. There are also a number of other small outlets which means that pretty much all you need is close at hand - very reassuring.

"Sunny Daze" is a spacious property benefitting from 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have en-suite facilities. There is a balcony off the very large master bedroom which provides great views over an area of wetland. Naturally there is a pool which we used everyday - in December (and throughout the winter) I would say it is important to take the pool heat option to get the benefit from the pool. Our 5 year old would have probably spent the whole holiday in the pool if he could have! The lounge, dining room & kitchen areas were all spacious and we certainly appreciated the space we had. The equipment provided met all our needs for the holiday - the broadband connection was particularly welcome for keeping up with e-mails and news from back home.

Grant & Beth were really helpful to us throughout the whole booking process and in the run up to our stay - top marks for customer service. At every stage they were quick to respond to any queries we had and we really felt that we were valued customers to them.

Would we return to "Sunny Daze" in the future - absolutely we would.

BEAUTIFUL HOME IN A GREAT LOCATION

My family and I stayed at Sunny Daze from September 17th for two weeks. The property is in a beautiful and extremely well maintained gated community. The house is large, comfortable and very well equipped with all of the facilities you might need.

The rear of the property is home to a large pool and is overlooking a conservation area. We opted to have the pool heated as we had a 15 month old with us, this proved to be an excellent decision as it ensured that we could have an early morning plunge prior to heading to the parks or shops for the day. The Master bedroom also has a balcony displaying amazing Sunrise views each morning.

I would highly recommend Sunny Daze, for it location, Champions Gate is only a short drive away with a number of outlets and restaurants. The I4 is again only a couple of minutes away allowing easy access to Disney, Universal and iDrive as well as Tampa.

Our holiday highlight are the visit to Discovery Cove and welcome change to the hectic pace at the other parks, my wife and I also took a Balloon ride, both we would recommend.

We chose Sunny Daze because Grant and Beth proved extremely easy to deal with and accommodating and this proved to be a good decision, we are hopeful of returning to Florida in the near future and will most definitely be in touch with Grant and Beth to stay at their beautiful home again.

DELIGHTFULL HOLIDAY HOME _ AUGUST 2011
What we found on arrival at Sunny Daze met all our expectations.
The villa is situated in a lovely position right beside a natural conservation area with plenty of interesting wildlife. Sounds in the evening, of birds arriving back to roost and settle down for the night were wonderful as were the daily antics of the playful squirrel and giant sand hill cranes which seem to wander by whenever they take the notion.

The well maintained interior was beautifully clean and tidy and it is evident that Grant and Beth take good care of their property. We have rented other villas in Florida before and would like to return to Sunny Daze sometime soon. The villa is close to many lovely restaurants, pharmacies and shops etc and a car is necessary.
In addition to the many popular parks and places people visit, we think that a trip to Kelly Park, Natural Rock Springs, Apopoka. is something very different to enjoy and remember. This is an ideal spot for people who enjoy being in the water without having to do anything too energetic and children will enjoy it as well.
Wildlife is plentiful as those with a keen eye will discover. Rock Springs is a real, natural Lazy River and wildlife park.
Ps. It's advisable to buy an inflatable tube or two from one of the many shops before entering the park. .

GREAT HOME & SERVICE
We visited this well located and Lovely villa for one of our many return visits to the Orlando area. The listing was very accurate and we must say after many stays in Florida villa's, one of the best for location, cleanliness and layout. Having the Laundry room upstairs is a great idea, cut down on the trips up and downstairs to store Laundry.

The outlook from the pool and the balcony was just great. The surrounding area was quiet, well kept and pleasant. The gated concept is a great idea and makes the experience a lot more special. Facilities where as described and the addition of Wireless Broadband was great fast and even reached to the pool which was very convenient. Location Just the right distance from the I-4 and Highway 27 for access to all the parks. We were in Disney within 15 mins which on the early mornings made all the difference.

Grant and Beth where a pleasure to deal with. I would say their Customer Service was second to none. Throughout the booking process during and after. Informative, helpful and enjoyable Communications between Owner and Renter. I would recommend this property and its owners to all who are looking for a hassle free holiday in the Orlando area.

A visit to Kennedy is a must. Not far away, less than 2 hours and great value with lots to learn and they even have a cool Shuttle simulator ride. We where privileged to be able to see the last shuttle launch from Port Canaveral and would recommend if staying to check out future Rocket Launches from the Cape as unmanned launches are planned to continue. Chilli's is just 5 mins drive from Villa at exit/entry of I-4 and also does a great To go Service ordered online when the activities have tired you out. Highway 27 has a number of Neighbourhood Grills such as Applebee's etc. With the 192 Area only a short drive away we where never short of choice. ONE OF THE BEST....
On arrival in Orlando we found the directions extremely useful and got us to the villa without any problems, after collecting the keys from the box we entered a spacious lovely home. Downstairs had a great spacious feeling and their was ample space that we never felt on top of each other, the pool area was ideally sized with a proper glass table. After being in the pool we found the pool toilet really useful for getting changed to prevent water staining the villa carpets.

The stairs were located at the front of the house and went up in a L shape, this gave upstairs that open feeling, at the top of the stairs we had 2 good sized bedrooms with single beds followed by a double bedroom with a en suite. The master bedroom was really spacious and the en suite and closet were virtually the same size as the bedroom, patio doors inside the master bedroom led to the outside balcony which was a great size and featured sun loungers and a table set for 4.

Over the last 5 years I have rented between 15 - 18 villas and I must say overall I was very impressed with this villa, I felt it was comfortable spacious and one of the best I have stayed in.

Dear Grant & Beth,
It was wonderful for Grant to phone us during our stay. My apologies for the “over speaking”. We were in the process of departing for Epcot and it was mildly chaotic. Our stay at your villa played a major role in a wonderful multigenerational family vacation. The weather was perfect and Sunny Daze exceeded the vast majority of our needs. The easy drive to the parks and the safe and accessible neighborhood were extremely convenient.

You will not be surprised to learn that the pool was a tremendous hit with the grandchildren. We actually missed the light shows at the parks. When we arrived at the villa for rest breaks, we couldn’t get them out of the water. The entire family repeatedly mentioned how much more enjoyable the villa stay was compared to a hotel environment.

Two great discoveries for us were at Universal. The first being the $25 valet parking. We felt that the additional $10 over the large lot and tram was a value. We had lunch at Mythos restaurant near the Harry Potter area and felt that the food was exceptional.

Thank you so much for all of your help with questions regarding the area. Great call on Publix Bakery for the birthday cake. Thank you again for the use of your wonderful villa. We loved our stay and appreciate all of your courtesies. Should we plan another trip to the Orlando area, we will certainly rent again. Needless to say we will recommend the villa to others.

The villa looked great on the internet but was even better when we saw it for ourselves. Superbly clean with all mod cons and so much space. Easily the cleanest and best maintained property we have stayed in. Great location in a gated community at Champions Gate close to supermarkets etc and only a short drive from the Disney Parks via the I4 and incidentally not too long from Orlando International aiport.

Pool area was superb almost too good at times to tear our children away from to go to the parks!! - great too that a toilet off the pool area so no wet feet in the immaculate house.

A real home from home and great that the owner Grant was such a pleasure to deal with. We would highly recommend this home and have done so to numerous friends already. We definitely will be back

Hi Grant & Beth

The WOW factor - that's what you get when you arrive at Sunny Daze, even after a long tiring journey over from the UK. We all really enjoyed your home and can see why you are so enthusiastic about it.

Great place, great location and superb facilities. Very well presented and clean. Very spacious, you can always find a quiet spot if you need one. Everything A1. In particular the beds were very comfortable. You certainly need the A/C and pool.

The pool area has an open outlook over the conservation area and is in a quiet location to relax when not racing around the theme parks. Champions Gate is on the doorstep. There is a Publix (similar to Sainsburys), petrol stations, bank, mcdonalds and Chilis (texmex) there. So you don't have to travel far to stock up or eat out.

Our favourite eating place in the end was Manny's Chop House, about 15 miles south on US27.Definitely the best steak we had whilst we were over there.

Easy access to I4 interstate road which gives quick journey to Disney, International Drive,Tampa or Daytona.

The description is very good and we would not hesitate to recommend this vacation home to others - you will not be disappointed.

Hi Grant - here is my review on our stay

I rented "Sunny Daze" for 2 weeks in April and can safely say it surpassed all expectations. The house is in a great location within a gated community- The property maintenance is second to none and the view of the conservation area is stunning.
This house can serve you well for pretty much any holiday- A romantic break, a family vacation, a disney holiday, a relaxed holiday by the pool or just a break with friends. The house is so spacious and the master suite is the size of most London apartments!
The situation of this house is ideal- You are minutes away from various shops and the parks are a short drive away- Literally you could not ask for more.

The icing on the cake was the fact that the owner, Grant, was the easiest person to deal with and he went out of his way to help arrange the stay and to provide useful tips that made our stay more enjoyable.

I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking for the above criteria- "Sunny Daze" is certainly the place for you.

Hi Grant & Beth

We have recently returned from a family vacation in Orlando. After searching hotels we thought we would look at vacation homes. We found Grant and Beth's home through greatrentals.com. The process was easy and communication with Grant and Beth was informative and we always heard back from them very quickly. The home was beautiful. The master bedroom was large with an incredible bathroom. There were a total of 4 bedrooms which 2 had en suites. The kitchen was well equipped with a large pantry.

There was a Publix just down the street but we went to a Walmart superstore which also is close by. The family room is open to the kitchen with a TV. Just off the family room is a private pool to enjoy, there was a supply of floating devices to use so you do not have to bring your own. There is a safety fence around the pool for anyone with small children, so no need to worry. There was also a large living and dining room which we actually didn't even use. I would highly recommend this home, Grant and Beth are wonderful to deal with. You will not be disappointed with this beautiful home.

Sunny Daze is a spacious and well presented villa. Clear directions to the property are provided (on previous holidays it proved a nightmare locating the villas as directions were not clear) and the location is excellent as it is midway for many attractions (theme parks & bright lights but also for wildlife fans there are many lakes etc nearby - Airboat ride with Captain Carl on Lake Kissimme was great, very informative and much wildlife seen, also wildlife on the doorstep as the villa backs on to a conservation area).

Grant was extremely helpful when asked any questions and the description of the villa is very accurate. The property was immaculately clean upon our arrival.

I would recommend this villa to family or friends whether old or young.

Everything was perfect. From the size of the property (easily big enough for 8-10 people), to the location and layout. It was great to go back to such a quiet house after the hustle and bustle of the parks, and only 10-15 minutes drive away on toll-free Freeway too... perfect.

The price was a bonus too. Why pay a lot more to stay in a Disney Resort 'Travelodge' room when you can have the luxury of a large villa with all the added amenities?

Grant & Beth made the experience easy and enjoyable by being available at every step of the process, with fast responses to any questions asked. This visit was actually our Honeymoon, and we were pleasantly suprised to be greeted with flowers and chocolates on our arrival!

Sunny daze is an wonderful oasis of calm, where you can recharge your life whilst enjoying the Orlando experience. Its location gives you the option of quite rest with the family fun benefits of the theme parks.

The house is large and spacious with everything you need for a stress free holiday. The washing machine and dishwasher eased the experience. We loved the pool for a dip each morning and the balcony for sun, coffee and a read.

Hi Grant & Beth

We had an absolutely fabulous time at your wonderfully spacious villa - so good we really didnt want to come home! The time just flew by and even though it was 24 full days it seemed to pass in the blink of an eye!

The villa is extremely spacious, airy and light. We didnt use the living area to the left as you walk in the door, at all so some of the space felt a little wasted but there was plenty of space in other areas so it isnt really needed anyway. The pool area is great with a fab outlook and setting. The pool was very warm everyday as you said it would be and we have certainly used the pool more often that we have in other villas just because it was a great temperature and a lovely setting. We have felt quite hemmed in at other villas with regard to the pool area so it was lovely to overlook the conservation area with all the wildlife that frequent it!!!

The weather was great, the wedding was perfect and we had an absolutely fantastic time. We all have the major holiday blues since coming back.

We would love to stay at your villa again sometime - and hopefully sometime soon!!! Your villa will always have a very special place in our memories due to the wedding and I cant really think of anywhere better to have spent it so we cant thank you enough.

We had a great holiday and Sunny Daze was ideal. It is close to all the theme parks in Tampa and Orlando, but is located in a quiet community with interesting views to see different wildlife. The house is spacious and it was marvellous to swim in the heated pool first thing in the morning and later after a hard day at the parks. Overall a great house which I would recommend.

My family and I have recently returned from a two week break at "Sunny Daze" in Florida. We had a fantastic holiday full of great memories and your villa really did make all the difference to a throughly enjoyable stay.

We all thought the villa was comfortable, spacious, light and airy, a perfect size for seven of us. We really liked the location of the villa and the gated community was very well kept. Our children absolutely loved the pool and spent many hours in there, the fact that it was covered and heated was great.

We must mention the lovely view out of the back onto the conservation area, we saw some fantastic wild birds during our stay along with some amazing sunrises and sunsets!
We will certainly be holidaying there again in the near future!

"Sunny Daze was light and airy, spacious, clean and well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable too! We had all of the towels we needed and access to a washer and dryer has saved us a lot of washing and ironing on our return home!

The pool and pool area were great, we enjoyed sitting out there at night listening to the frogs and crickets singing down by the lake!

Being near Walgreens, a 7Eleven and Publix is a bonus, particularly on arrival, and we have to say that Chillis is fantastic, we would give anything for a Cajun Rib-eye with Mash and Gravy right now!

Thank you for supplying the accommodation that went towards making our stay such a fantastic one and we will certainly be recommending Sunny Daze to our work colleagues at DHL and BA. "

"Our stay at the Sunny Daze villa was very comfortable and pleasurable. The location of the villa is excellent. It has very convinient Publix supermarket nearby and it is a short drive away from the theme parks and the shopping malls.

Facilities at the villa are second to none. They are more than adequate for self caterring holidays. My wife was very pleased and fascinated with the hair care gadgets provided. She felt these facilities are a must for women going to USA from UK.

I will recommend my friends and family to consider booking for Sunny Daze whenever they are vising central Florida."
