About the home

Sandena is located 9 miles from Walt Disney World. It is in a quiet location (with miles of protected habitat at the end of the street). This safe gated community also boasts a children's play area and tennis courts a short walk from the house.

Highgate benefits from backing onto a conversation area. With great shops and eateries close by, you will soon feel at home.

The lounge and master bedroom both open onto the south facing pool area complete with spa and child safety fence. The pool area is equipped with sun loungers, table and chairs, perfect for relaxing with a drink after the children have gone to sleep. There is a poolside toilet and wash basin and shower. There is also a shaded area with ceiling fan for extra comfort.

- Master bedroom with kingsize bed, en suite, patio door to pool area, ceiling fan, his/her wardrobes, bedside cabinets, ample storage. Master en suite with corner bath, spacious shower, his/her basins, WC.

- 2nd King sized bedroom with 2nd bathroom next door with shower over bath, vanity basin and WC.

- 3rd bathroom for twin bedrooms 3 and 4 with shower over bath, vanity basin and WC.

- Bedrooms 2 and 4 have TV's in them. All rooms have ceiling fans.

- The well equipped kitchen has a large refrigerator (with ice maker) oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, plates, mugs, cutlery, baking trays, coffee maker, blender, wine glasses, pans and dishes and cookery set. A full sized clothes washer and dryer, iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner.

- Relaxing open plan living area with 3 seater, 2 seater sofas and 2 chairs. Stereo CD player, DVD and VCR, 32" TV, USA Playstation. Patio door to pool area.

- The dining area seats 6, overlooking the pool area. Bedding, bath towels, table linen and tea towels are provided.

- Games room with seating area, pool table and air hockey.

- Free fast 10 Mb wireless internet.

- The villa will have been cleaned prior to your stay and will be cleaned again on your departure. Midstay cleans can be arranged for an extra charge.

- Hire of addtional equipment ie. cots, highchairs, bikes etc can be arranged.

- The 28 foot private pool/spa area is for our guests enjoyment only.

- The extended large decking area has 4 sun loungers and 4 chairs and a table.

- There is a removable child safety fence as per state law, and poolside WC and basin and shower.

- Two patio doors open onto the pool/spa area.

Further details

- A deposit of £100 per week payable at the time of booking, with the balance 8 weeks prior to departure. A security deposit is also required of £250 which will be refunded to you on your return (approx 14 days), when we have confirmed no excessive cleaning or damage.

- We accept bookings any day of the week, which can help with your flight plans. The villa is available from 4 pm on the day of your arrival, check out is by 11am on the day of departure.

-A 12% local tax will be added to the rental cost and confirmed in the booking form.

- Pool heat is £84 per week unless stated otherwise.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area region

You will be only 5 mins away from Interstate 4 which will whisk you to the beautiful beaches off the Gulf Coast, the famous Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Centre, all within an hour of your vacation home.

Disney 8-10 mins, Bush Gardens is an hour away, Sea World, Discovery Cove, Downtown Disney, Florida Mall, Medieval Times, the list goes on are all within 20 mins.

The Davenport / Highgate Park area

Championship golf course are all around you, such as Southern Dunes, Orange Lake and Highlands Reserve. The Prestigious Championsgate with 2 Greg Norman designed courses are only 10-15 mins away.

The nearest supermarket is Publix (turn right on Highway 27 and you will see it on the right) - 1 minutes drive away. Also there is an Applebees restaurant, Fish and Chips takeaway, pizza takeaway, Indian takeaway, fuel station, liquor store, UPS store, and public bar. They have a super Walmart in the opposite direction which will hold all you will ever need from food to TVs and that all important extra bag or two for the return journey!

“Fabulous!” This was our second trip to Orlando, so we knew what to expect. This villa didn't disappoint. It was comfortable, clean and really family friendly. We had teenagers and they were delighted with the wi-fi access! (teens eh? take 'em on a fab trip and they still want to log onto facebook and chat to their mates). We spent our days in the Universal Parks, Sea World and Aquatica, which were a 15-20 minute straight drive, easy access. Get there early, beat the crowds, then come back early afternoon and have a play in the pool. Chill out and then you are still close enough to go back to the park to watch the evening shows (parking is for all day and you can come and go). The villa is a great size, we lacked for nothing. the pool is big enough to have large kids playing about - but not really big enough for a great swim (unless you go in circles which is what I did). The owners were helpful from the onset. Just book it and have a great time! Jealous!
