The Florida / Orlando Disney Area
Holiday makers will love the Disney Theme Parks and Sea World, Universal Studios and Busch Gardens *** We also recommend the shopping in either the Shopping Malls or more locally Wal-Mart. Other local stores include K-Mart, Sears and Target.
Our favourite though is Beales Outlet at Osceola Mall on the 192 which unbelievably ,sometimes, gives 75% off sale prices !! *** The main highways US-27 and the I-4 are less than 5 minutes away, and so all the attractions are easily reached.
You can use either the I.4 or the US-27 (linking to the US-192) to get to Disney and this should take about 15 minutes *** For a change, try visiting the wildlife area at Cape Canaveral with its protected National Sea Shore and Five Mile Drive. For just a few dollars per car you see the old natural Florida with the alligators and birds, including the southern Bald Eagle *** Florida has a wonderful array of beauty spots, and there is a State Park at Lake Louise on the US 27 which has areas for barbeques and picnics. A small entrance fee of a few dollars applies.
Davenport / Sunridge Woods area
Sunridge Woods is a well kept neighbourhood with a very strong homeowners association which monitors the look of homes and the way the area is used *** There are many golf courses within easy reach. Champions Gate is the nearest but there are many well established golf clubs with pay and play facilities. Buggies and clubs are for hire *** Fishing is a popular Florida pastime, and our lake can be fished on a catch and release basis. Details of Florida fishing and sporting activities can be found on the Florida Tourist website www.FLAUSA.com *** Close by at Champions Gate there is a very good supermarket which is similar to Waitrose in the UK. *** Several family restaurants have recently opened on the US 27. You should find Cracker Barrell a good choice *** There are very good evening entertainments at Downtown Disney including Circle du Soleil, plus a Virgin Megastore to pick up the latest sounds.

Fly to Sanford Airport by charter airline or Icelandair
Fly with the USA airlines changing planes at their hub airport which is where you go through US Immigration. Flights normally use Orlando International Airport (MCO)
or
Direct and non-stop to Orlando International (MCO) on Virgin or British Airways. **** Extra Details with Virgin Flights -
There is a Twilight Check-in at Gatwick Airport please check with airline for details *** Virgin have a morning check in at Downtown Disney where you can check-in your cases on the departure day
