About the home

Villa Anna has something for everyone! Gardens, shared pool, rural walks, fantastic views over the sea and mountains,3 verandas and a 5 minute walk to the sea.

Datca can be walked into in 20 mins along the promenade to enjoy the many varied restaurants and the perfect spot to watch the harbour activities and relax and watch the world go by.There is also an hourly local bus going into town from very close by the villa.It goes on the hour every hour into Datca - the bus stop is 3 mins walk from the villa.

Villa Anna is bright and spacious with sea views you will always remember. It is furnished in a Turkish theme and the garden surrounds the house and is a lovely area in which to relax. The veranda downstairs has a corner seating area ideal for reading and relaxing whilst looking over the Greek island of Simi and the mountains where the sun rises in the morning.If you feel inspired to paint, there are water colours for you to create with in the villa.

There are small local shops close by for groceries and the larger supermarket Migros nearer town.

There are ancient archaeological sites close to the villa.

On Wednesday mornings there is a vegetable market by the first local shop .

There are 4 sun loungers in the villa and 2 sun umbrellas for your use. There are also jelly shoes in various sizes for the stoney beaches.

We now have a travel cot, highchair and childrens seating for your little ones.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The beauty of this region with enthral you at every turn! Datca's air is renowned for being oxygen rich making it a very healthy place to visit. The local area is famed for its almonds, honey and thyme - all to be tried!
The ancient ruins at Knidos are a car or boat trip away and also the old town of Eski Datca with its cobbled streets and old houses are like stepping back in time and can be easily reached from the villa.

Datca boasts its own amphitheatre where concerts are often held.

Whilst in Datca a trip to the barbers is an experience not to be missed for the men!! For the ladies a visit to the hairdressers can include all beauty treatments at a very reasonable price. Don't forget the Turkish Baths also!!

The Datca area

There are varied water sport activities in the area and local sail club to hire equipment, get tuition etc plus beautiful beaches of either sand or pebbles and always the beautiful crystal blue water for swimming and snorkelling.

Datca is a small Turkish town where local life centres around the harbour and its many great restaurants and bars where you can while away the time watching local fishermen and the many gulets and yachts coming and going and just watch the world go by!! Pure relaxation!! Datca also boasts its own natural mineral lake right by the beach.

The local dolmus buses can take you further afield to places like Mesuide over the mountains where you will find a secluded cove with a couple of fantastic tavernas, or Karencir with its white sandy beach.

There is also a small waterpark with a great restaurant nearby which is also on the bus route and a great day for everyone in the family.

The Greek island of Simi is a boat trip away from Datca and the locals there travel to Datca every Saturday to purchase their weekly shopping at the market which is full of local produce and wares which are bargained over with great gusto!! The Turkish people love a good barter!

There are many beautiful bays and coves to discover by boat which can be hired on the harbour.

The local restaurant called "Kapi" is only 5 mins from the villa (walking) and it produces excellent quality local food at very reasonable prices. It has a small play area for young children.

“Amazing time - beautifull views and fantasic villas with everything you needed and more” This was our third trip to Turkey and we now we have found Villa Anna and Datcha we do not need to look any further. The Villa had the best position in the development and a brillant balcony which we spent most of our time on - eating, drinking and relaxing maximising the views. Villa Anna is equipped to a very high standard there was everything you needed in the kitchen and even more. We spent most days going to the beach and you can just get on the bus outside the Villas which takes you into town and onto Cargi Beach which is the last stop and we spent most days there. But we did spend a couple around the pool areas and it was very clean and a lovely temperature. There are lots of places to eat in the town but just a couple of minutes from the villa is a family run restaurant which we hop of the bus from the beach and go in for a few beers, wine lots of games of backgamon and either go home and change and head into town or just relax and enjoy there lovely food and friendly service.
