Villa Bougainvillea located just ten minutes' walk from the beach, on the outskirts of the Datca town which is certainly one of Turkey's best kept secrets. Quiet and peaceful, yet only a 15 minute walk from the harbour town centre, the villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
The villa benefits from an elevated position over a large pool reserved for those staying in one of the Riviera Villas. A second smaller shallow pool is perfect for the children or for dipping your feet!
Leading from the airy living room is a spacious terrace with stunning sea views, furnished with a sofa, table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco and complete with gas BBQ for those pleasant evenings when you want to enjoy the views from the comfort of your home. The stunning master bedroom features an emperor size bed and opens onto balcony overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. The second double bedroom hosts a kingsize bed and the third bedroom has a single bed with pull out bed. This makes the villa ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.
Datca is not yet discovered by mainstream tourism. Here you can still taste the real Turkey in Datca. The village is famous for its high oxygen level in the air and the low humidity. Even in the hottest summer months, a gentle breeze will allow for a pleasant stay. The sea and the coast line are stunningly beautiful.
Perfect for couples, families and groups. This 3 bedroom villa sports a lower level apartment with an additional double bedroom, its own bathroom and kitchen which is perfect for couples travelling together or as a granny flat.
Hire a car and you can see the entire Datca peninsula. Visit the historic village of Eski Datca ("Old Datca") or explore the ruins of the ancient Greek city of Knidos. Alternatively visit one of the many beautiful stretches of beaches which line the coast in both directions.

About this location
The Turkish Aegean Coast region
The quiet fishermen village Datca is located about 65 kilometers from Marmaris.
Datca, with just 8000 inhabitants is on a peninsula surrounded by nature. Its location is unique: North of the peninsula is the Aegean Sea and at the South the Mediterranean Sea. From the peninsula you have a panoramic view on the Greek islands Kos, Simi and Rhodos.
In the village itself you can find a little beach and there are plenty of quiet little bays where you can enjoy the peace and beauty.

The locals are very welcoming, the market is entertaining and there is not the hustling of customers that you come to expect in the more commercial tourist towns in Europe.
Our local friend and contact will be on hand should you have any problems during your stay. As well as running a local bar he also has superb knowledge of the area and an excellent grasp of english.

"Highly recommended accommodation & location"
We have just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable holiday made all the more pleasurable by staying at this lovely villa. It has all the comforts of home plus wonderful sea views from the ground and top floor balconies. The kitchen is well equipped, plenty of linen is provided and the rooms are spacious and airy. The site is very quiet and relaxing and sunbeds are provided for use by the swimming pool which is only a few steps away from the villa. Datca itself is a rural picturesque town and is an ideal base for exploring the peninsular either by boat, car or dolmus as many secluded beaches and villages can be reached. We liked it so much that we are hoping to return to this accommodation next year.
Many thanks for your review. Its always a pleasure to hear that our guests have enjoyed their stay and will return.
