About the home
Mountain View Villa is a modern detached villa overlooking the Datca peninsula to the front and the mountains to the rear. Datca is uniquely situated between the Aegean and Mediterranean sea and is renowned for its beautiful climate and clean air. The villa is surrounded with an outdoor veranda for all summer outdoor dining.
The swimming pools are shared with a small number of other privately owned villas. There are a choice of beaches in the area - with fabulous swimming and diving areas close to the villa. Breathtaking sandy beaches are all only a 15 minute bus journeys from the villa.
Datca has many fine restaurants all within comfortable walking distance. Taxis are always available if you choose.
Datca hosts a superb Saturday market where farmers and traders bring excellent produce to the town. A smaller farmers market for fruit and veg is close by the villa on Wednesday. There are a good range of shops and a Migros supermarket. A water park, only a short bus ride away, is now a great attraction for children and adults.

The garden area is simple and very well kept. The flowers are symbolic of the Mediterranean landscape. The small complex is very secure with a fenced perimeter. The villa enjoys a beautiful mountain view and much welcome breeze in hot summer days.

Datca lies in the South West of Turkey on a peninsula where the Aegean sea ends and the Mediterranean begins.
Datca has a typical Mediterranean climate. The temperature in summer time is approximately 32 Degrees Celsius. A cool summer offshore breeze makes the heat very pleasant.
Try to make time for the barber and hairdresser in Datca - a real treat for all!
The Datca / Eski Datca area
Datca has a history reaching back to before the classical age. Many historical sites can be visited by boat or car. Boat trips to areas of historical interest are usually coupled with breathtaking sightseeing of beauty spots and tourists are invited to swim in the sea at various points. Bays like Palamutbuku are spectacular. Kizlan village is famous for its windmills. Eski Datca (Old Datca) is famous for its old stone houses and traditional lifestyle.

You can also fly to Bodrum and travel to Datca by car or take the Bodrum Ferryboat which runs passenger and car ferry services to Datça with a bus transfer from Korman landing in Datça town. The Bodrum Ferryboat Association accepts Visa, MasterCard and Eurocard.

We had a fantastic time in Datca the villa was everything we hoped it would be. Everything was modern, tasteful and very clean. The small select complex was set in peaceful surroundings with a lovely pool. A 10 minute walk takes you to a lovely secluded pebble beach. |
