Sunnydale, Dittisham is a grade II listed 19th century house situated on Manor Street, Dittisham just 50 yards from the River Dart, Ferry Boat Inn and Anchor Stone Cafe. Sunnydale is a spacious house ideal for two couples or a family. Children will love the close proximity to the river for crabbing from the pontoon and playing on the Ham. This lovely location, close to the village amenities and river combined with two cosy open fires make this an ideal property for out of season bookings. The house is set over three floors and has been lovingly restored and modernised retaining the original fire places and stripped pine doors.

The front door opens into the sitting room with comfortable sofas open fire, TV with CD/DVD, digital radio/ipod player. Stairs down into a large kitchen and dining room with cream units and colourful tiles, pine floor, beamed ceiling, original stone fireplace with wood burning stove. There is an electric hob and oven, microwave, intergrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Pine dining table and chairs and painted dresser.

The bathroom is on the half landing and has a bath with shower over, WC and basin. On the first floor are two bedrooms. The double bedroom has a king sized bed with wrought iron frame and the second bedroom has twin beds. There are river views from the twin and river glimpses from the double. Separate WC.

Outside at the front of the house is a small gravelled area with a bench. There is a choice of 2 car parks approx 300m (steep hill up to 'The Level' car park), it is possible to park outside to load/unload.

The West Country region

The ancient village of Dittisham surrounded by glorious countryside and the river Dart running by makes a lovely spot for a self catering holiday at any time of year. The dinghy pontoon on the Dittisham Quay will provide children with endless fun crabbing and just along the river bank is The Ham, an open green space with swings and lots of room to play and have a picnic. Right on the Dittisham quayside are the Ferry Boat Inn and the Anchorstone Cafe, both serving excellent local produce. There is a village shop and Post Office operating within the Red Lion Inn at the top of Dittisham. Dittisham is situated at the widest part of the River Dart making it an ideal place for learning to sail and many families return year after year to mess about in boats. Dittisham has two sailing schools for lessons and boat hire.
