On visiting Shute Cottage on the guest's departure we found the property to be warm and cosy with no evidence of damp, mould or mildew. Earlier in the year considerable work was carried out in re-rendering both chimneys to eliminate a previous source of damp ingress. These areas had fully dried out but left a little discolouration. The Owners have now redecorated and following a meeting with them at the cottage we are satisfied that no dampness is evident
