We were very lucky to spend Christmas 2012 at Reservoir Cottage as a family. Myself, my husband, our eldest daughter & her partner and younger daughter, together with 3 terriers. The accommodation was fantastic and suited our needs perfectly. The owners were even kind enough to supply us with a real Xmas tree, decorated for no additional cost! The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to produce a very impressive Christmas Dinner. The house is beautiful with stunning views over the Dart estuary. We were even lucky enough to see a dolphin. The cottage is very warm and cosy although spread over 4 floors giving plenty of space. The bedrooms are all of a good size and very well decorated and comfortable. A big thank you to the owners!

This wonderful house is situated in a quiet narrow lane in kingswear. From the moment you open the front door you are met with a light and airy double height hallway, from here you can access the kitchen, dining room, terrace and separate shower/toilet and handy utility room. The stunning views are seen from the dining room, living room and the two double rooms on the upper floors. The house benefits from an excellent heating system and a log burner for cozy evenings. There is also wifi connection throughout the house. The kitchen is fully equipped to a high standard and everything was exceptionally clean. As for the surrounding area, this is our second visit to Kingswear and I'm sure not our last.
