From the kitchen a glazed door opens onto the steps up to the back garden. Also on the ground floor are a WC with wash basin and a single bedroom finished with white bedroom furniture. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms and the main bathroom.

At the front, the master bedroom overlooks Coronation Park and the River Dart. Off the bedroom is an en-suite shower room with WC. The landing leads to a further double bedroom, which looks over the back garden with double glazed French doors opening directly onto a stone terrace. Also off the landing is the main bathroom, which has a bath with integral shower, WC, basin and an independently heated towel rail.

Further details outdoors

To the rear of the property is a landscaped garden with paved areas, brick borders and a variety of shrubs and plants. A glassed balcony looks down towards the rear of the house and here there is an outdoor table, large wooden parasol and chairs. Steps lead down to a smaller terrace by the French windows of bedroom 2, and further down past the window of bedroom 1 to the kitchen.

To the front of the property is a newly landscaped terraced garden which has been constructed using old railway sleepers and slate chippings. There is a bench overlooking the park, which is ideal for the mid morning sun, tea/coffee, papers and to watch the world go by.

The West Country region

Devon is a popular holiday destination in South west England. The scenery and climate have made the area a favoured destination for the past 250 years. Over that time much has changed, yet much of the character and many of the local traditions have remained.

The coast and countryside are still extraordinarily beautiful, which is why more than two thirds of South Devon is carefully protected as a national asset, either in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or as part of the Dartmoor National Park.

Dartmouth

Dartmouth is characterised by its narrow lanes, stairways and corridors and plenty of medieval and Elizabethan features. It is a beautiful town steeped in history with many of the buildings dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. The oldest building in Dartmouth is the Cherub Public House which dates back as far as 1380!

The Britannia Royal Naval College famous for training the Royal Navy's Officers sits majestically overlooking the town and down the River Dart towards Kingswear and the Dartmouth Castle and out to sea. The Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway is on the Kingwear side of the river and trains run regularly offering a traditional and unique blast from the past.
