27 Lake Street is a cosy characterful Cottage property located a stones throw from the centre of Dartmouth. The property is finished to a high standard throughout and makes an excellent base for exploring and enjoying Dartmouth, with restaurants, art galleries and boutiques on your doorstop. The property offers everything you need for a self catering holiday from the hamper of goodies on arrival to the availability of internet access. Although there is no parking at the property, a parking permit is provided for use in the town centre car park from April until the end of September.
The lounge is a light and airy room, finished with co-ordinating furnishings that compliment the ambience of the property. Furnished with a corner leather sofa with a separate armchair and pouffe, with side tables and additional low level lighting. Entertainment is provided by a flatscreen freeview TV with built-in DVD player, a provision of books, games and DVDs plus the availability of Wi-Fi. There is also a feature fireplace with inset gas fire.
The kitchen is open plan to the lounge area and is well equipped with fitted appliances of a built-under cooker with gas hob over, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine and microwave. Dining is provided by a large breakfast bar and stools.
There are two spacious double bedrooms.
Bedroom Two is located on the first floor and comprises of a wooden double bed with bedside cabinet and side light, triple wardrobe and six drawer narrow chest of drawers. The room retains its cottage character with a feature fireplace and with a window to the front offering town views.
Bedroom One is located on the second floor and is full of charm and character with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams and stone fireplace. A wooden framed kingsize bed compliments the room with matching bedroom furniture of bedside cabinets with sidelights and a large three drawer chest of drawers. A window offers Town views to the front with a cabrio window to the rear. There is also a separate single bed available in this room providing flexibility for family stays.
The bathroom is finished to an excellent standard with fully tiled floors and walls. The bathroom suite comprises of a panelled bath with shower over and glazed screen, low level toilet and washbasin in vanity unit.
To the front of the property is a small raised terrace, an ideal location to sit and enjoy the late afternoon and evening sun.
Although there is no parking space with the property a parking permit is provided from April until the end of September. There is also some on street parking available close by.
