The Beacon is a spacious 3 bedroom duplex apartment, a conversion on the 2nd and 3rd floors of an historic building at the heart of Dartmouth. It has a wonderful, light and airy feel about it and offers superb family accommodation and a real bonus is the under cover parking at the rear! So, you can relax and enjoy a perfect holiday! Inside The Beacon you'll find everything you need for your convenience and comfort plus a travel cot, sterilizer, plastic cutlery, high chair, stair gates and toilet step for babies and toddlers. A wide variety of games and books to suit all ages are also provided along with a crab line and bucket for crabbing on the Embankment - a must for everyone! There is also a safe and well equipped children's play park a few yards from the front door.
The lounge offers airy accommodation under original beams at roof top height, affording town and country views. There are 2 leather sofas and 2 leather easy chairs, a DVD player, an LCD TV with Freeview and a CD player. There is a large dining table with upholstered dining chairs.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, washer/dryer, a small fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and a full range of essential equipment.
There are three spacious bedrooms, each fully equipped with bedside tables, reading lamps, chest of drawers and wardrobe. The master bedroom has a king size double bed (and generous, fully carpeted en suite shower room). The second bedroom has two divan beds that can be re-arranged to provide a second double bed. The third bedroom has twin beds.
There are two bathrooms.
The en-suite in the main bedroom has an electric big shower, basin, mirror, WC and heated towel rail.
The family bathroom has a big bath/shower, basin, mirror, WC and heated towel rail.
The is no outside space.
There is undercover parking at the rear of the property. This is extremely valuable in the old part of Dartmouth, and allows guests to relax in the knowledge that their car is safely parked for free and is out of range of the seagulls!
