This wonderful Grade II listed 17th-century farmhouse is located in an unspoilt part of the Dartmoor National Park. It has been decorated and furnished to a very good standard, making it ideal for a family holiday or for a group of friends spending time together. The holiday property is in a rural location, set in 35 acres of the owner's grounds. There is also a small, select caravan site within the grounds with no more than five caravans at any one time. The property itself has 1 acre of private grounds with a trout lake at the end of the garden (licence needed, bring own rods) and carp fishing is also available in the owner's grounds.

The university and cathedral city of Exeter is 14 miles, with its shops, many restaurants and river trips. It also has wealth of underground medieval passages built beneath the city centre dating back to the 14th century. Castle Drogo is close by with dramatic views over Dartmoor and for a great family day out, Crealy Adventure Park is recommended. For the more energetic there is Haldon Forest, with Go Ape and many cycle paths as well as Dartmoor National Park with superb countryside for riding or walking. Dartmoor also boasts a variety of cycle routes, both on and off road, as well as horse-riding, climbing, letterboxing, geo-caching or kayaking. Purple, heather-clad moorland, wide open landscapes, rushing rivers and obscure stone tors shape the landscape of Dartmoor together with rolling valleys, bogs and wetland, waterfalls and eery forests and lonely ruins. There are many NT properties all with in a short drive and the delightful village of Drewsteignton is just over 1 mile. Cheriton Bishop is 4 miles and Whiddon Down 2 miles. Shop and pub 1 mile.
