This converted, detached barn is situated on the owners’ farm on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park.

Enjoy some lovely walks from the cottage direct onto the moor or walk up the hillside to the historic, landmark St Michael de Rupe Church at Brentor, perched 1100 feet above sea level and where panoramic views can be enjoyed. Nearby is the award winning town of Tavistock with its famous market, shops, pubs and restaurants. The beaches on the south coasts of Devon and Cornwall are easily reached. Nearby attractions include many National Trust properties such as Lydford Gorge, Cotehele House and Castle Drogo. Historic Plymouth with its Hoe, Barbican and National Marine Aquarium is worth a visit. Activities within a short drive include tree climbing, wall climbing, riding stables, swimming pools, golf courses and fishing. Alternatively, sit and relax on the patio or wander the adjacent orchard where sheep and chickens can be seen. Farm activities: guests are able to have a guided tour of the farm, by arrangement, and see the animals.
