"Warm welcoming and comfortable in a beautiful environment!"

The Mill was a delightful base for us as we explored Dartmoor and beyond. Nick and Sarah were fabulous hosts who bent over backwards to make our stay extra special. The cottage is very spacious and well equipped and in a beautiful rural setting.

Thank you for your review - how wonderful that you felt home in The Mill. We hope you're both well and look forward to welcoming you back to Lurcombe in the future. Our very best wishes to you both from Dartmoor! Thank you!

"A quaint little piece of Devon"

Staying at The Mill exceeded all of our expectations by far! Everything from our hosts (Sarah and Nick) to the amenities offered in the cottage made our stay excellent. It was nice to have farm fresh eggs, wine, and milk available upon check-in. The cottage was quiet and truly a breath of fresh air (literally). We loved having our own space--a very spacious living room, kitchen (with everything we needed: forks, sugar, olive oil, etc), to a very large bedroom and bathroom. The views from every window were picturesque and I highly recommend The Mill for anyone looking to get away in Devon. It is truly a piece of tranquility! My husband and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Thank you so much for a lovely review. We hope that you both (and bump) are well. We're so pleased that you had a great time here at Lurcombe and we wish your friends you got married at the yurt camp happy blessings! Look forward to welcoming you back soon!

"A Delightful stay with Wonderful people in a Stunning place..."

The stay with Nick and Sarah was wonderful. The warm welcome from both of them and their lovely pets was very touching. The Mill Cottage was unique ,small detail like selection of books , magazines , DVDs speaks for itself , in how eager they are to please their visitors.
The supply of fresh eggs, milk , a bottle of wine and of herbs , cleaning products again shown the eagerness to make it a home away from home.
For myself coming from a farm in South Africa the views of breathtaking green hills from the windows and the sheep just watching you was so much a reminder of reflects the peace and tranquility from this property.
This weekend was wonderful but most of all it was lovely to see that there are still people around that is willing to go out of their way to please visitors with the most thoughtful touches to make their stay as pleasurable as possibly.

Dear Tertia, Roland and Bud
Thank you so very much for a lovely review. We look forward to seeing you again soon and send our best regards. Thank you. So pleased you had a fabulous time here at Lurcombe. See you soon! Sarah and Nick.

"Birthday Break"

The greeting we received upon arrival were lovely. We were shown around our cottage, which was beautiful and there was lots of local information to hand. The owners were freindly and so helpful. We had lovely fresh bread when we arrived to make up for the chickens not laying eggs that day, but eggs were on our doorstep the next afternoon.
We went to a lovely local pub for dinner, bumped into the owners and they even bought us drinks.
The farm was lovely, the dogs freindly, in a perfect location for day trips out.
The facilities in the cottage were second to none, with a fabulous double shower and very comfy bed. The kitchen was well equiped and the lounge lovely and cosy (and I don't mean small!)

We will definately be going back for a longer stay.

We are so thrilled that you had such a lovely stay and welcome you back anytime! thank you for your lovely feedback. We send you best wishes from the farm and hope you have a fantastic christmas and new year! Thanks for you response, it means a lot.
