Pinnacle Point Lodge
from £43 /night help
Lodge | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
Self-catering golf lodge overlooking scenic pool/bar area and bird sanctuary. The lodge provides comfortable modern indoor living, and opens up onto its own exterior wooden deck with built-in BBQ.
Relax with a drink at the nearby golf clubhouse and enjoy absolutely spectacular views over the cliffs and ocean. Want to improve your golf? A top-class driving range and short-game practice facilities are available ( at nominal cost).
The lodge is within 5 minutes walk of a Hotel and spa and the Garden Route Casino.
There are two cosy beaches at Pinnacle Point that can be accessed by golf cart, and a five km car drive in either direction sees you on sandy beaches as beautiful as any on the South African coast. Walks can be enjoyed in the protected nature reserve. A particular highlight is to hike a 4km stretch of the St. Blaize Trail along the magnificently rugged coastline, above caves once inhabited by early man.

The Western Cape region
Travelling along the coast from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth, Mossel Bay is the start of the world famous Garden Route. This 200 km stretch is one of the most beautiful parts of South Africa. Situated between a majestic mountain range and the blue waters of the Indian Ocean you will find natural forests, gorges, streams and lagoons, and some of the best beaches in the world.
It is a foretaste of paradise for golf lovers, with at least half a dozen of the top-rated golf courses in the country within easy driving distance.
Mossel Bay is a seaside town on the Garden Route of the Western Cape Province of South Africa. It's a welcoming place, that loves and provides for visitors in all forms - whether families, singles, couples, backpackers or tour groups. It is a busy summer destination as well as an ideal winter retreat, blessed with a sunshine-soaked temperate climate all-year round, reputedly second only to Hawaii. But its most important feature is its status as the historical capital of the Garden Route.
A genuine, home grown, South African Coastal town. One where you'll really relax. One where you'll quickly slip into a “No Hurries, No Worries” frame of mind.
There is lots to do in and around Mossel Bay - Bungi jump off a bridge, dive with sharks, safari style game drives, boat trips, helicopter flips, hiking trails, fishing, rock art galleries, ride on a steam train, watch dolphins and whales, quad bikes, horse riding. Also cinemas, live entertainment, and plenty of shopping; no need ever to be bored.
