About the home

Villa Louise is a stunning, privately owned, two-storey holiday home set in a quiet and peaceful location, yet only a 12-15 minute stroll to the centre of Dalyan. It is fully air-conditioned, instant hot unlimited water, beautifully furnished, has a modern fully-equipped kitchen and bright living room.

All 4 bedrooms have air-con and balconies with spectacular unobstructed views of the surrounding area. Outside, you can relax under the large covered terrace, swim in the private pool or laze about the garden.

The villa has a built in water filtration system so NO MORE traipsing in the heat carrying large bottles of water!

Villa Louise is settled, in a peaceful location, on a country lane next to a cotton field on the outskirts of the small riverside town of Dalyan.

Dalyan is a gem of a little town named after the river which links Lake Koycegiz to the Mediterranean. The village of Dalyan is surrounded by lush green fields breaking into spectacular mountain ranges.

Villa Louise provides you with all the extras and a little more besides. The beds are of a superior quality and medium firmness. The two large bedrooms have king size beds (160x200cm). Mattress protectors are on all beds.

We have installed a Reverse Osmosis water filter system. This is in the form of a separate tap at the kitchen sink to be used for drinking water, cooking, filling the kettle and the iron. The tap water in Dalyan is not dirty, but has a higher mineral content than us Brits are used to, possibly causing upset stomachs.
No more struggling with 5 litre bottles of water from the supermarket!

The villa is cleaned ready for your arrival. If you are staying for 2 weeks there is an additional clean on the 7th day. This includes; bedding & towel change, floors, emptying bins & general tidy. If you would like total privacy you can request not to have the cleaner come during your 2 week stay.

Chances are, if you’re here looking for a villa in Dalyan, you’ve probably been there before!! People return time and again once they’ve discovered what locals called the “Paradise of Turkey” or “Dalyan Diamond”. They’re not wrong!

If you’re new to Dalyan; you’re in for a treat!
The tiny town of Dalyan in the province of Mugla on the South-Western Mediterranean is set in the centre of a broad delta whose natural beauty is completely unspoilt. This is one of the surviving corners of paradise, an area of outstanding natural beauty and historic interest.

Read any review anywhere on Dalyan, and you’ll struggle to find a bad word said. We’ve been a few times and have never had a bad meal, never felt more relaxed and remain amazed at the genuine friendliness of the Turkish people.

The Dalyan area

Mud Baths
The Mud Baths are a short walk or water taxi from the centre of Dalyan. "Beauty Mud" which not only cleanses and tones the skin but is said to remedy rheumatism and has anti-ageing properties. After allowing the mud to dry, it can be removed in a natural clear water sulphur pool, at temperatures of around 40 Celsius. This leaves you refreshed and relaxed.

Thermal Springs
You can find the thermal springs next to the mud baths or for a great day out take a trip to the Sultaniye Thermal Baths. They are to the Southwest of Köycegiz lake. The water here at 40 Celsius is second to none. The water at these baths was first used in Caunon times, then by the Byzantines, who rebuilt the accommodations. The ruins of the buildings from the period are submerged beneath the waters of the lake. It is not unusual to see the Turkish elderly make pilgrimages to the baths due to the water’s curative properties in case of neuralgia, rheumatism and skin disorders of the liver, spleen and bowels.

“Perfect family holiday at Villa Louise” Villa Louise was fantastic in every way. Perfect relaxing holiday. The villa has everything that you need. Lovely short walk to the town. The locals are lovely and friendly.

“Fantastic Villa Louise” Villa Louise is perfect. A beautiful villa set in its own grounds, a lovely garden, beautiful pool. The rooms are all furnished to an extremely high level. The bedrooms are large, with very comfortable beds. Shower rooms are all beautifully marble tiled. The Villa is maintained to a very high level. Villa Louise is within a short walk of local shops and restaurants. The locals are very friendly. This was our second visit to Villa Louise, and we have returned home and booked again for next year. Villa Louise has everything we could wish for.

“Fantastic Sunny Getaway” Villa Louise is completely as advertised - it's beautiful, convenient and the customer service was impeccable. Easy walk to town, though I'd recommend using a taxi if you have small children. No complaints, other than having internet access would have been the icing on the cake. Response: Yes WiFi would be great and is something we are looking into for next year.
