The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The town of Dalyan, in the province of Mugla on the South-Western Mediterranean, is set in the centre of a broad delta whose natural beauty is completely unspoilt. Dalyan is very environment aware and has strict planning policies in place to conserve its natural beauty. No building is allowed to take place from May to September, so you will not we woken by the sounds of diggers or workmen etc. during these months.
This is one of the surviving corners of paradise, an area of outstanding natural beauty and historic interest. Dalyan lies on the river bank with its many small tourist boats which will take you out to the famous Turtle Beach or inland to the beautiful Lake Koycek.
Lycian Tombs overlooking the village and the mud baths at the ancient village of Caunos are well worth visiting.
Dalaman airport is 25 minutes away by taxi from Dalyan. Transfers will be arranged to take you to the apartment and cost £27 for up to 4 people each way. Taxis are the easiest way to travel around although the local Dolmus (bus) are the cheapest. A car is not necessary for your holiday but is easy to arrange.

This apartment is located in perfectly, in a quiet area, yet only a 5 minute stroll from the centre of Dalyan. You won't need a taxi to go anywhere in Dalyan. Dalyan has a wide variety of restaurants,. both in the centre of town and along the riverside serving the finest Turkish and International cuisine.

There are numerous bars/ cafes/ restaurants in the centre and along the riverside in Dalyan, but it is not commercialised in the way other resorts are. It is a town that respects its environment and is perfect for couples & families who enjoy themselves in an unobtrusive way. Prices are very reasonable with the Turkish Lira still the same rate of exchange as 2007 against sterling. You would expect to pay 3-4 TL for a beer, approx £1.50, or a fillet steak or locally caught and fresh seabass for £7-£8.
Everything is done at a leisurely pace and enables you to relax and unwind.
The local market is held every Saturday and is full of bargains, although it is expected that you will haggle with the sellers! The market sells just about everything you could want.
The town has supermarkets, post office, bank and most other services you will need during your holiday. Telephoning the UK is easiest and cheapest at the post office.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service. All bed linen and indoor towels are provided. The apartment will be in pristine condition for your stay. Please note that you will have to provide your own towels for the pool and beach.
Further details outdoors: 2 sunbeds with cushioned covers, a patio table and 4 chairs are available for your use. The sunbeds, patio table & chairs and clothes dryer should be left inside the apartment prior to your departure. The Pool and gardens are enclosed, so are perfect for families with children. The pool is 33 ft x 15 ft x 4ft deep.

Welcome pack containing details of trips, useful telephone numbers etc., provided on arrival. Swimming pool available from April to October. (Pool is cleaned morning & evening every day) Cleaning will cost extra if required during your stay, although this should not be necessary as there is a washing machine in the apartment Beautiful Walled Gardens English-speaking representatives on hand to answer any questions.
We arrange a "meet and greet" private car / 6 seater to pick you up and transfer you from the airport straight to our apartment. This service is exclusively to transport only you and your family/friends. Our clients are insured as our transport service are a Tursab Turizm agent. The transport service vehicles are new in comparison with other taxi companies. This transfer only takes 25 mins. The driver will be standing outside arrivals with your name on his board. The driver will give you the keys to the apartment on arrival and take them from you on departure.
Conditions
Strictly no smoking inside, but it's OK to smoke outside on the patio or the balconies. £100 security deposit required which will be refunded within 10 days of the client departure We request that any breakages are replaced or reported to us or our representatives on arrival or prior to your departure 25% deposit secures your booking if the booking is more than 8 weeks from the booking date with the remainder 8 weeks before departure. For bookings less than 8 weeks from the date booked, the full amount will be payable along with the booking contract form. The booking contract form will be forwarded to the client when a booking is agreed, so that both owner and client are fully aware of their responsibilities.
