"A very stress free holiday!"
We had a great time in Dalyan and loved staying at nazar.
From the start to finish everything about our stay at nazar was just great - the pick up from the air port, the location of the apartment, the trips we went on and dalyan itself.
The apartment is lovely and was just as described- perfectly situated and very peaceful, there were two other families there at the same time as us - everyone was friendly and chatted around the poolside.
We spent equal amounts of time out exploring as we did relaxing around the pool. We did the moonlit BBQ, the 12 Islands, visited turtle beach and turtle hospital and ate at some lovely places. Everyone in dalyan, both locals and tourists were all so friendly and we met some great people.
The apartment and poolside were so lovely that I think we could have easily spent the whole time just at nazar!
Norman was so helpful which took the stress out of booking the holiday.

"Ideal for young kids"
Ive been to Dalyan a few times before and always stayed in a hotel but decided on renting this time. I'm now disappointed its taken me so long to do it! Great little 2 bed apartment 5 mins walk from the centre, great garden, lovely pool. 1 large king size bed, 2= 1bunk beds in 2nd room ideal for kids. Also a pull out sofa for when the wife snores! not me you understand. If your going to Dalyan and want good clean cheap accomodation stay here. Cheaper than a hotel, much more privacy and many more facilities. You can't go wrong. Owner is A1 with contact and any advice you need, just drop him a line. Thanks Norman, see you again.

"Dalyan - I have never been anywhere better"
It was exactly as it said on the tin.
Dalyan as a location was fantastic! I have never been anywhere better - and the only locations I would consider rivals are in the Carribean area or North America and therefore
much more expensive regarding flights and at least twice as long time in the plane.
We would like to go back next October half term.
It was obvious they were winding down, but this made it nice for us. There were enough visitors (mainly Dutch) for things to operate and good friendly service as all competing for
business. Many retired visitors and a fair number of people for half term. I don't think next week would be so good as probably not enough visitors to justify the effort (although some
people may have extended their half term). I would not go later than this week.
Weather wise was good for us - lovely between 11am and 3pm. My son hates sun cream - although he did tolerate it on his legs which got a bit red and wore baseball cap and
sun glasses and shirt except when swimming. The last "ferries" left Turtle beach at 5pm. When we got back to Dalyan it was noticeably cooler. Personally and for this reason I would not go in summer later
than May half term - but I think the sea would be warmer in October. I did not venture in at Callis Beach in May 2010. I liked Dalyan much more. Turtle beach was more inviting.
The scenery on the way was breathtaking.
One lady who had been visiting Dalyan for 15 years said she thought September and a
bit earlier in October were best.
Good choice of restaurants at reasonable prices (we also liked Sini for authentic Turkish) and supermarket quite good. Saturday market excellent. Fruits/spices/ salad/veg superb.
One morning the bedroom windows were misted up. This was probably our one dullish day when we visited the Mud baths and Thermal baths, but it was not cold.

"Unspoilt Dalayan with friendly local people, and a great villa, and a fantastic beach"
Must visit Sini restaurant if you want authentic Turkish food at great prices and good service. We went there nearly every night and were never disappointed with the food or the wine.
Also visit Turtle hospital and if you are lucky meet Kaptan June and thank her for saving this slice of Turkey from the developers.

"Must Do - Memorable"
As a family we loved our stay in Nazar apartment in Dalyan, the weather at the end of August was just right and a lovely breeze could be felt on the patio on an afternoon. This truly was a great experience, the apartment was fab and the pool just perfect and only a few minute walk from the pier and its selection of great resturants and shops. This town certainly is Turkey's best kept secret as the area is extremely laid back and pottering about the shops around is a pleasure as you are not subjected to the 'hard sell'. Recommend the various trips on offer at the harbour as they are reasonable and enjoyable particularly the Moonlight Tour - my teengae lads 15 and 13 thought this was the best trip ever as they got to swim and dive off the boat at night under the stars whilst a lovely barby was cooked and then served on deck. This trip also involved a trip to the mud baths and opportunity to star gaze and on a clear night numerous constallations can be seen!
Turtle beech is stunning, no watersports and well protected because of the turtles nesting. We caught the river dolmus a few times to the beach and each time it felt like a trip due to the views along the river, i.e Lycian Rock Tombs and turtle watching!
