About the home
We completed Pomegranate Garden Villas in 2011 and chose the name on account of the beautiful pomegranate fields which surround our villas on three sides. The pomegranate is a symbol of luck and good fortune in Turkey!
With the more discerning villa guests in mind we offer superb, unique accommodation with a more personal touch in this most special setting.
The property consists of three attractive villas ( Artemis, Byblis and Caria) and two swimming pools in magical Dalyan and offers 360 degree views of fields and mountain scenery.
This property option is ideal for those of you who wish to holiday as a large group of family or friends in a very private location with the benefit, comfort and convenience of 3 individual, quality properties.
The villas afford fabulous views across the countryside to Dalyan's turtle beach and the sea in the distance. There are NO other houses around to obscure your view or block the much welcomed, cool sea breeze. The villas are not at all overlooked (the nearest house is 150 metres away) the feeling of SPACE is amazing and the view of the stars at night is not to be missed.
We offer you the best of all worlds: superb accommodation in breathtakingly beautiful surroundings, total peace relaxation and privacy in a natural environment and the convenience of all the amenities that charming Dalyan has to offer just a short walk away. Shops and restaurants are an 8-10 minutes walk and the very centre of Dalyan is a 15 minute stroll away.
Each villa sleeps 7. The total sleeping capacity is 21. Downstairs there is a twin bedroom and a double bedroom. Upstairs there is a stunning penthouse style master bedroom with an enormous feature bed along with 4th (single) bedroom
We have equipped each kitchen with top quality kitchenware to include luxury cutlery which is 5 star hotel standard. We provide you with a fruit and vegetable juicer, a cafetiere & a blender.
We have used quality fixtures and fittings throughout. The sofas are comfortable and good quality.
For your entertainment we offer you a TV, DVD player, and an IPOD docking station with speakers in each villa.
We have installed WIFI for your convenience which has an excellent range and is FREE.

There are two swimming pools for your leisure. Both are the same size ie. 4 metres by 7 metres with a depth of 1.50 metres to 1.60 metres. The children's splash pools are at one end of the main pools and are separated from the main pool by a chrome railing. There is an enormous sunbathing terrace to ensure comfortable sunbathing for your group. This can also be used in the evenings for group dining.There are two large BBQs.
The surrounding pomegranate fields are stunning in May and June with their bright red orchid like flowers and even more stunning in September and October when laden with huge red fruit. Our location is governed by a building permission of only 5% which results in splendid uninterrupted views of the stunning Dalyan scenery.
The villas face the sea in the distance and thus benefit from the constant sea breeze.
We provide 6 bicycles which have proved an enormous hit with our guests. Discover the local lovely safe country lanes around the property or pop to buy delicious fresh bread from the bakery.
Two of the villas have wheelchair access ramps. Pathways around property and pool are level and suitable for wheelchairs.

Free Housekeeping pack including: washing up liquid, sponge, dishcloth, enough dishwasher tablets, washing powder, fabric conditioner etc to last the duration of your holiday. We don't expect you to have to buy these items. Clothes dry in next to no time in the breeze. Why not take all your clothes home clean and have no washing to do when you get back from your holiday!!

We live locally and can deal directly with our guests from key exchange to cleaning, repairs and anything in between.
I have extensive knowledge of the area (I have lived in Dalyan for 16 years) and can point you in the right direction for anything you require and any special request you have.
The villa is cleaned before you arrive and then on a weekly basis.This includes bedding & towel change, floor cleaning, bins emptying & general tidy. If you wish for an extra clean in between please contact us and we will arrange this for you at an extra cost of £20.
Guests are asked to provide their own pool/beach towels.
Cot and highchair available.
Strictly no smoking indoors. You are welcome to smoke on the balconies.
20% of the rental cost required to secure booking.
The remaining 80% is to be paid 6 weeks before booking commences.
Deposits are non refundable and non transferable.
Pay pal accepted.
Conditions
A breakage payment of £200 per villa is to be paid separately. This will be returned after villa inspection.

The Turkish Turquoise Coast boats 300 days of sunshine a year. In addition to the great climate is a beautiful coastline and an area overflowing with places of historical interest. This winning combination makes it
attractive to Turkish and international tourists alike.
There is a huge choice of trips around the surrounding countryside and coast. The 5000 year old ancient sites at Tlos, Xanthos and Aphrodisias are within a day's drive while Ephesus and the unique 'Cotton Castle' in Pammukale can be visited on a 2 day trip organised from Dalyan. You can also fly to Istanbul in 1hr 10 minutes.
The Iztuzu beach in Dalyan is the second most important site for endangered loggerhead turtles. Imagine a 5km strectch of golden sand from the base of a pine clad mountain to a river delta with not a single hotel, house or car in sight where rare turtles come to lay their eggs at night.
The Dalyan / Maras area
Dalyan is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Spend your holiday in Dalyan and you will undoubtedly want to return, joining the ever increasing number of people who have fallen under its magical spell and cannot keep away. With a charismatic mix of breathtaking scenery, nature, extraordinary Turkish hospitality, as well as restaurants, charming bars, places to shop and lots of things to do, you will experience an unforgettable holiday which will exceed all expectations.
Dalyan is a lovely, small riverside town, a conservation area surrounded by cotton fields, pomegranate fields, orange and lemon groves and pine clad mountains. Development is limited in Dalyan which means no high rise buildings, Greenpeace plays an active role and local people still make a living fishing and farming.
Dalyan has a beautiful beach, one of the last few remaining nesting sites of the loggerhead turtle with its own turtle sanctuary where you can see injured turtles and it has been voted as one of the safest beaches for children and was also winner of The Times Best Open Spaces for Europe.
There are famous local mud baths and thermal springs and an ancient city just the other side of the river as well as spectacular 4th Century rock tombs carved into the cliff face. There is a beautiful lake at the end of the river for you to cruise around and have a barbecue.
Dalyan is laid back, low key and lovely; a unique place that is a hit with all ages. If you are one of those people who vows 'I never go to the same place twice' you'll be in for a surprise

Our strong family of 14 aged between 1 and 70 stayed in the three villas from 14th to 28th August. Plenty of shade and the two swimming pools which were cleaned every day kept us cool as well. We had a quiet pool and a noisy which suited us all. There was a pleasant breeze most afternoons and days. We shall be back very soon. Helena and Dundar to help with any queries and was most helpful in every way. Found the bikes helpful. We did hire a 5 seater car but it was not necessary as there was an abundance of taxis or mini buses to take us around if needed. Response: Thank you very much for staying with us and taking the time and trouble to review our properties. We really appreciate it and are happy to hear that you enjoyed your holiday at our villas. Fantastic idea to have a quiet pool for the older members and a noisy pool for the younger members of large family groups. It was so lovely to see three generations of the same family holidaying together. We would love to see you again. |
