This luxury villa apartment with a pool and BBQ is set in the beautiful Lycian countryside close to one of the best beaches in Turkey called Iztuzu (Turtle Beach).
The villa apartment has been furnished to a high standard with luxury and comfort our aim. It is fully air-conditioned and for added comfort a drinking water chiller has been installed.
The ground floor consists of a large living/ dining and kitchen area with two balconies overlooking the pool and lovely mountain views. It also has a twin bedroom and family shower room.
On the first floor is the master bedroom with a double bed and en suite bathroom. The landing area has two single beds a large double wardrobe and full air conditioning.
The villa apartment can sleep six comfortably.
Approximately 30 minutes away a new major championship golf course may open in 2013, whilst only a short boat ride away lay the famous mud baths and hot springs of Koycegiz.
The spectacular surrounding mountains provide an ideal area for walkers/ hikers and cyclists.
The village of Dalyan lies on the river bank with its many tourist boats waiting to take you for peaceful days out or down to the beach. The region is one of the surviving corners of paradise, an area of outstanding natural beauty and historic interest.

The Pools are fully cleaned daily and in the evening / night the beautiful pool and patio lights encourage you to enjoy a relaxing evening.
Four fully adjustable Sunbeds with cushions are provided to top up your tan.
Patio tables and chairs with cushions are on the two balconies overlooking the mountains pools and gardens.
The balconies have lighting for the evenings.
The apartment is set in the countryside with beautiful country views.
Only 50 metres from the Dolmus pick up to take you into Dalyan / Ortca / Sarigerme or Dalaman.
Bodrum, Marmaris and Fethiye are only one hour on a Dolmus.
For freedom and flexibility why not hire a car ? Dalyan ( 1 km. ) has lots of car hire companies My recommendation is to book from the UK.

£100 security deposit is required which will be refunded within 14 days of your return to the UK.
A deposit secures your booking then the balance falls due 6 weeks before departure.
The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Dalyan in the province of Mugla on the South-Western Mediterranean, is set in the centre of a broad delta whose natural beauty is completely unspoiled. Dalyan was once a small fishing village overlooked by rock tombs. It has now become popular with holiday makers looking to get away from the bustle and noise of the big cities.
From inland mountains several streams converge at the Majestic Koycegiz Lake which was once an open bay to the sea. Today silting has created a fertile plain through which the Dalyan river winds its way - past the haunting remains of an ancient city and through a labyrinth of tall reed beds to emerge at the stunning Iztuzu beach.
The convivial little town of Dalyan sits beside the river, the flow of its bright green waters setting the pace of life for this rural community.
Village ladies still hang corn cobs and peppers up to dry. Visitors share the streets with chickens, tractors, cows and bicycles (the locals favoured method of transport). In addition to tourism the main occupations here are cotton growing and fish farming (Dalyan translates as fishing weir).
The weather in Dalyan is usually very predictable. From May through to October it is highly unlikely to rain and is always hot in the day and warm at night. The sea is at its warmest after August with an average temperature of 25c. The winter is similar to a British summer, it never freezes but can rain quite a lot during December and January.
Dalyan is very environmentally aware and has strict planning policies in place to conserve the natural beauty.
The Dalyan area
The apartment is situated in the countryside only a 15 minute walk or 3 to 4 minutes on the Dolmus into the centre of Dalyan. The Dolmus runs approximately every 15 minutes.
The Dalyan area has everything to offer you during your holiday. Some of the many daily trips available are:

Shopping is excellent with a mixture of modern shops and supermarkets to quaint local shops selling those unique bargains to be found only in this part of Turkey. There is a modern bank and a post office. It is a beautiful area with lots to do for all ages in a safe environment with numerous great value Cafes, Bars and restaurants in the centre and along the riverside. The small town is not over commercialised as some other resorts are. Dalyan respects its enviroment which makes it perfect for families and couples to enjoy themselves in a safe friendly enviroment.
Once a week local farmers come to Dalyan to sell anything from fruit, vegetables, linen, baskets, tools and even chickens. There is a unique atmosphere in which bargaining is all part of the fun.
Iztuzu Beach is one of the most picturesque and most photographed beaches in Turkey. Look in most brochures and there it is. The beach is one of the few places in the world where the Caretta Caretta turtles nest. The beach is a designated conservation area of outstanding natural beauty with over 4km of unspoiled golden sands, a shallow sea incline and crystal clear warm waters. Dalyan is very enviroment aware with strict planning policies in place to conserve its natural beauty. No building is allowed to take place from May to September.
The Mud Baths and hot springs at Koycegiz Lake "Beauty in Mud" are a must to visit. They not only cleanse and tone the skin but it is said to remedy rheumatism and has anti aging properties.

Golf - yes GOLF - a new 18 hole championship golf course may open 2013 at Sarigerme (only 30 minutes away from Dalyan) and is the only course for 300 miles. The Hilton Hotels Group plan to open the course all the year round. When it opens If you wish to spend a golfing week off season please contact me for special low rental rates.
If you just wish to chill out and top up your tan then we have a beautiful lit pool and sunbeds. The graduated steps into the pool mean that non-swimmers can take a dip too. Why not let the younger children play in the warm shallow children's pool?
During the warm evenings you can either cook a meal in our well fitted out kitchen or on the large BBQ on the patio. Then sit on the balcony with a glass of local wine watching the children play. Or if you wish to eat out then Dalyan has a variety of restaurants, both in the centre of town and along the riverside serving the finest in Turkish and International cuisine.
The Dalyan area has something for everyone of any age, for the fit, the not so fit and those just wishing to relax and chill and as Turkey is not in the Euro Zone prices are amazingly low so you can enjoy the holiday of a lifetime without breaking the bank.

We went out of season as regulars to Turkey. The apartmnet was fabulous! Had everything you need inc a lovely bath tub! the apartment was furnished to a very high standard. Peter was very helpful at all times We would definatley return should we need to be in Dalyan again. The apartment was within easy reach to Dalyan centre and the supermarkets Thank you for lettting us this wonderful apartment! |

Once again we had the most fantastic holiday. The apartment was just as lovely and the pool was great to cool down. The water cooler is an excellent idea for the warmer months and even made drinking water more appealing to my children! Dalyan itself was once again, clean and the people as friendly as ever. We took several boat trips this time which were excellent value for money and greatly enjoyed by all of us. The only sad thing is that we had to come home... Please can we book again for next year?
