Red Squirrel Cabin has a wealth of character and charm and provides a true log cabin experience. Cabin is situated in an elevated position with stunning views over open meadows, beautiful Loch Awe and the hills beyond. It has a Visit Scotland 3 star rating

The accommodation consists of open plan Lounge, dining area & kitchen, double bedroom, twin bedroom, double bunk room and family shower room.

The lounge / dining area, which has a high vaulted ceiling, has satellite TV, DVD, Hi Fi (via TV & DVD), sofa, easy chairs, dining table for six and a lovely wood burning stove. Loch elevation is mainly glazed, to maximise the stunning view, with French windows opening onto a raised veranda area.

Wifi available at extra cost of £30 per week or £15 per short break (4 nights max)

The kitchen area is well equipped, with cooker, fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave, toaster, kettle and all necessary utensils, crockery & cutlery.

Shower room is tastefully finished and has electric showers, wash basin, toilet and shaver point.

Bedroom 1 is a first floor mezzanine room with views over the loch. It has double bed, wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side table.

Bedroom 2 has twin beds, wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side cabinet.

Bedroom 3 has two bunk beds, wardrobe / clothes storage.

Outside there is parking for 2 cars, an elevated veranda with garden furniture, including picnic table a BBQ area and grassed area. The cabin provides privacy and is bordered by a large open meadow on which children can play safely, while being watched over from the living area.

The cabin is timber lined throughout, double glazed, highly insulated, well heated and suitable for year round use. It provides a balance of luxury and comfort while maintaining the character, charm & feel of a true log cabin in a quiet forest location.
