About the home

Gunluk Villa is privately owned villa with its own private swimming pool completed in 2006 which is built on a small development just minutes from the up and coming town of Dalaman.
It is an ideal base for your holiday in Turkey being situated close to the airport and in easy reach of some beautiful beaches and tourist attractions.

Facilities

Further details indoors:
The interior consists of a fully equipped Kitchen with Washing Machine,cooker with Gas hob and electric oven, and a large fridge freezer.
The Lounge area has a 2 and 3 seater setee.(which converts to a double bed)2 armchairs ,sideboard and coffee table.
The Master Bedroom measures 7m x 5m with seating with 2 armchairs which convert to a single bed, and a coffee table.
The dining are has seats for 6 but patio furniture can be brought in to bring this up to 10

Further details outdoors:
Outside there is a large private walled patio area ideal for eating out on hot evenings.Either cooking on the built in barbecue over a log fire or using the gas barbecue supplied.
There is a large private pool cleaned regularly throughout your stay where you can lay on the sun loungers or on the lawn.Turn on the pool lights in the evening for a midnight swim.
The garden is planted with roses, fruit trees,jasmin, beorgonvillea, cordalines,oleanders and grasses.

Further details

The cost of all gas,electric and water is included in the price.
Hot water is from solar power on the roof and therefore is limited in colder weather.
The gas hob runs from bottled gas and will be checked before your arrival.
Air conditioning is free but we would ask that it is used sensibly and only turned on when rooms are occupied. The Air conditioning units also act as heaters in colder weather.
The pool is not available from November to February due to colder weather and cleaning.

Conditions

A 25% deposit of the cost of you holiday will be required upon booking to hold your reservation .
The balance should be paid for in full no later than eight weeks prior to the start of your holiday.
There is a security deposit of £100 which will be refunded within 10 days of departure after a complete check of the villa has been carried out.
Bookings with less than eight weeks notice can be arranged but should be paid for in full at the time of booking.

Guest welcome Service provided by our local agent includes:
Starter pack placed in fridge for guests will contain bread, milk, water, orange juice, butter & 6 eggs and the fee is to be paid directly to agent by the guests at the beginning of their stay.

Agent to contact guests ASAP after arrival to give advice on shops, restaurants, buses and other services.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The Dalyan river is lined with superb restaurants and bars. On the opposite side of the river is the ancient city of Caunos that is debatably the second greatest archaeological site in Turkey.A short tranquil boat ride away from Dalyan harbour is a four kilometer long beach that is home to the rare Caretta Caretta turtles.

With an unexplainable beauty. Sarigerme ,which was also a settlement of the ancient city of Pissilis welcomes you with its nature,long beach and the sea (blue flag).
If you like to have an active and entertaining holiday,many complexes along the beach have water sports facilities and are only to happy for you to hire their equipment for an exiting day at the beach should you want one!

Saklikent Gorge("Hidden City") is the longest and deepest gorge in Turkey, 18 km long and so steep and narrow that the sun does not penetrate the water, leaving it deliciously icy cold in the summer. Once inside, water sculpted limestone canyon walls soar above you.
Saklikent Gorge is a beautiful place and a great place to explore. Be sure to bring submersible shoes as you will sometimes be walking in shallow water or mud.

Although Olu Deniz is described as a lazy beach there is plenty to do if you are not satisfied with long lazy days on the beach and frozen margaritas in your hand.
You could jump from 2000 metres high and go paragliding, or go scuba diving in the warm crystal clear waters of the mediterrenean.
Oludeniz area is among one of the best sailing routes in the whole mediterrenean. You could arrange your own group and go on a gulet cruise or alternatively join others and go on a cabin charter gulet cruise along the coast for a week or a day.
Enjoy the12 island boat tour,Jeep safari,White water rafting,Hill walking,Village tour & Turkish meal,Yoga retreat and get a real feel for this stunning part of the country.

The Dalaman / Altintas area

Dalaman is an unspoilt traditional Turkish farming town 5.5 km south of the coastal highway.
In the town centre there is a weekly market, supermarket shopping facilities and an array of restaurants and bars.
Dalaman is fast becoming a popular area because of its proximity to the airport and beach.
Sarigerme beach is just 10 minutes drive away where you can enjoy the facilities of several Five Star hotels and all the water sport facilities that come with them. There is also the little known Sarsala Beach near Kapicargi which is just a short drive through the mountains, a little further but well worth it for the stunning views.
For the golfers among you plans have been passed and work is under way for an International Golf course near Sarigerme due for completion soon.
