The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Apartment is surrounded by fields and Mountains and is ideal for just relaxing by a Large Pool. But for those wishing to expore Southern Turkey it coudn`t be easier. Approx 1hr drive ( 1 hr 45 approx ) by local Bus is the famous resorts of Olu Deniz and Mamaris and only 15 mins drive to Sarigerme Beach with its Bars, Restaurants and Shops. The Beautiful Marina of Gocek with lots of Restaurants, Bars, Shops and Local Market is only 10 mins Drive ( or Bus ride ). Dalyan is only 25 mins away and is the home of the ancient city of Caunus, Boat Trips, Mountain Walks, Cycling, White water Rafting and the famous Mud Baths. Iztuzu Beach in Dalyan is one of the few places in the World the Sea Turtle come to lay their eggs.
Dalaman is 5 mins drive ( or Bus ) and is the closest Town. The Town remains reletively untouched br Tourism. It has Many Shops, Restaurants, Tea Gardens and Bars plus a big weekly market .

A visit to Dalyan is a must. Mud Baths , Ancient City of Caunus, White Water Rafting etc
Olu Deniz has one of the most photographed Beaches in the World
Gocek is a beautiful Marina with many Yachts and many boat trips ( Twelve island tour is a must )
Any trip would not be complete without a Turkish Bath ( available in Dalaman )

How to get there

10 mins drive from newly expanded Dalaman Airport, with direct flights to most UK Airports. Car Hire can be arranged through myself or directly with Airport based hire companies . I can arrange Airport pick ups for those who wish not to drive. Local Taxi`s always available.

We certainly enjoyed ourselves there, and your apartment is a great place to use as a base. It is lovely and spacious, and the choice of balconies to use is amazing. The neighbours are great as well-all very friendly. The pomigranites growing over the back are also very tasty! September 2006
