The Red Sea Riviera/Sinai region

Dahab area
Dahab, meaning "gold", is a small town situated on the south-east coast of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. Formerly a Bedouin fishing village, located approximately 80 km (50 miles) north-east of Sharm el-Sheikh.
Dahab is still considered to be one of the Sinai's most treasured diving destinations. The arrival of international hotel chains and the establishment of other ancillary facilities has now made this a popular destination with tourists, while still retaining its character, charm & laid back style. The nearest international airport is located at Sharm el-Sheikh.
A huge range of activities can be organised, including scuba diving, snorkelling, wind surfing, horse riding, quad biking & desert safaris. You can also arrange private yoga classes & massage in the comfort of your own holiday home.
How to get there
Fly to Sharm El Sheikh direct from UK. Transfer to Dahab (1hr) can be arranged at a cost of apprx £40 return.
Alternatively if you want to consider a 2 centre holiday & take in the Pyramids & the many sights of Cairo, you can fly there and take an internal flight to Sharm.
This takes 1hr & costs apprx £70 return.
