The Red Sea Riviera/Sinai region

The Sinai is a region rich in history and culture. The local Bedouin who have been inhabiting the peninsula for thousands of years are still living throughout the Sinai today. Dahab is one of the few beachside villages that is still largely inhabited by local Bedouin. Once you drive out into the desert the sights and experiences are endless. From St Catherine's Monastery (the oldest continuously inhabited monastery in the world), to climbing to the top of Mount Sinai (where Moses was said to have received the 10 commandments), to geological wonders in the forms of gorges, canyons, sand dunes and oases, there is something for everyone!

Dahab / El Asalah area

Back in Dahab you will never be short of adventures to pursue. One of the most popular activities is scuba-diving. Other activities include: horse-riding, yoga, dance classes, quad-biking, windsurfing, kite-surfing, wake-boarding, kayaking, snorkelling, camel riding etc.

How to get there

Sharm el Sheikh is just a 5 hour flight away from the UK. There are many cheap flight companies that offer dirt cheap last minute flights one of which is www.redseaflights.com. Once in Sharm we will meet you at the airport by minibus transfer to Dahab. The drive to Dahab takes approximately 50 minutes where you will get beautiful first view of the Sinai desert.

Guests of the apartment have full use of the facilities of Blue Beach Club Hotel. The swimming pool is in front of the apartment and right next to the sea. It has a large terrace around it with many sunbeds, so plenty of opportunity to soak up the sun.
