This country house has been sympathetically restored into two independent holiday homes, which can be rented separately or together for larger families or friends. We are a family-run business dedicated to providing a relaxing and peaceful environment to create your perfect holiday. Casa Due Sorelle consists of two self-contained cottages called Casa Elena and Casa Maria. Each cottage sleeps four people or alternatively as a whole sleeps eight people. Please e mail for availability as the calendar shows the bookings for Casa Elena whereas Casa Maria may be available.

The Marche / Abruzzo / Marche region
Casa Due Sorelle is situated in the beautiful Le Marche region, an area of outstanding natural beauty, rich in culture, history and panoramic landscapes.
The area is well known for its beautiful beaches whether you prefer the long velvet sands of Senigallia or the dramatic coastline of the Conero Riviera with its spectacular scenery. As a change from sunbathing and swimming why not try the water sports or go fishing, boating or even take a trip to Croatia?
Cupramontana area
The house nestles in the hills, a two-minute drive away from the village of Cupramontana where you'll find shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and a weekly market. The village is also the centre of the Verdicchio wine region and is host to the annual wine festival, which is held every October.
To experience the history and culture of the area visit the ancient walled towns of Jesi, Cingoli, Macerata, Loreto or Assisi. Absorb the atmosphere and wonderful architecture or perhaps relax in a piazza with a glass of wine whilst selecting which opera, art exhibition or theatre to visit - such as the world-famous opera at Macerata, the Pergolesi Theatre in Jesi or the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia.
How to get there
Casa Due Sorelle is in a good location for holidaymakers; just twenty minutes drive from Ancona airport along the SS76 Roma highway. There are daily Ryanair flights from London Stansted, or, alternatively fly to Bologna, Forli or Pescara and then two hours drive by car. Flights from Liveroool with Ryanair arrive in Ancona 3 times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Casa due Sorelle is easily accessible by train from Rome (2.5 hours) and from Bologna (2 hours). Major car hire companies are situated in Ancona airport terminal.

Further details indoors: Casa Elena has a fully fitted kitchen with a dining area. The lounge with a wood burning stove has a TV and DVD player, books, games, dvds and cds.. A downstairs bedroom sleeps 2 people and has french doors that lead out onto the terrace. There is a downstairs toilet wash room and a separate laundry room with washing machine. Upstairs the double bedroom has views over the garden and the valley. The separate fully fitted bathroom has a shower cubicle. A hairdryer, towels and linen are provided. Casa Maria has a fully fitted dining kitchen complete with fridge and cooker with oven and a wood burning stove for the cooler evenings.This bright airy room overlooks the swimming pool and garden and has a TV, DVD playerwith dvds, cds, games, and books. There are two bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with two singles. The fully fitted bathroom has a shower cubicle. A hairdryer, towels and linen are provided. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine.
Further details outdoors: Each cottage has a private terrace with bbq and dining area. The swimming pool is open from May and is set in the landscaped gardens where you can sunbathe and enjoy the beautiful views over the valley. One guest described the landscape as the most beautiful they had seen in Italy. Grassed areas surround the pool with a decked area complete with sunloungers and parasols. After cooling down in the pool, laze in the hammock with a glass of the local Verdicchio. Both houses share the swimming pool but if you are lucky you may just have it to yourself!
Conditions
A deposit of £250 per cottage is required on booking with the remainder payable six weeks prior to arrival.
